2nd stay in this hotel for us; the first time in 2021. The hotel is located close to the beach and the long promenade which runs along the beach is very lively, and very pleasant for strolling: restaurants, small supermarkets, numerous clothing and beach goods stores. The breakfast is excellent and very varied; we really enjoyed it this time again. (we had taken the PD formula only but we noticed that the dinner was also very varied, we had tested it the previous time) The staff is very helpful and attentive. The bathroom had a bathtub, and 2 sachets of shower gel were provided each day (+ 2 soaps), hair dryer in the bathroom. The bedroom is large enough, equipped with a wardrobe. The only downside for us was that ours was located on the fairly busy road side, but nevertheless bearable.

If you‘re traveling with the late night plan, it’s not a very good choice cause you‘re still need to take a taxi to the hotel and the and the reception is very dark. I can say it‘s a little bit like not so if it was the price.

We came for our honeymoon, so we chose a place near the Palma city airport. It was very convenient to walk to the city center, and it was nice to be able to tour the cathedral and Bellver Castle. I could see the cathedral outside the window unintentionally, and the location of the accommodation and the elevator were nice, but we stayed on the 8th floor with the bar, so the soundproofing was poor. ㅜㅜ Maybe it was because of the soundproofing, but I couldn't sleep well because of the noise from the room next door, even though it was a double door. ㅠㅠ

The swimming pool is clean, not small. Breakfast and dinner - depends on the day. Some days are super equipped, some days nothing to choose from. Unfortunately, the receptionist (woman with dark linger hair) was not kind and even asked in advance - denied the request of paying for an additional 2h for late check out in order to pick up an important meeting at work via laptop and denied giving access to one room they have for guests for an emergency stay. Never happened in my life before in this chain of hotels. In the room even the cleaning staff was requested, no recharge of soap or shampoo... And that's the reason I won't recommend the place - bad personnel can destroy good moments.

Both the reception and bellboy were friendly. As it was my honeymoon accommodation, I booked a place that was quiet and had a well-equipped restaurant, and I was very satisfied. The tapas bar was delicious, and the breakfast was also excellent. The sound of birds chirping every morning still lingers in my ears! It's quite far from downtown Mallorca, so I recommend coming just to enjoy this hotel! Even though I enjoyed everything during my 3-day stay, including the hotel's restaurant, spa, and swimming pool, it wasn't enough. It was really nice to be able to eat fresh fruit every morning. If you can afford it, I recommend a room with a terrace. A great hotel for families, couples, and friends! A taxi from the airport costs about 100 euros! If I go to Mallorca, I will definitely stay again^^

This place is a party hotel, and if you are put in a room next to the rooftop bar, you’ll get no peace until very early in the morning when they shut the music off. Additionally, I had an issue with the lock on my door. I waited for them to send someone up to fix it, but after a while I gave up Because I wasn’t waiting at the door the repair man didn’t fix the door so when I finally came back, the door still wasn’t fixed this wasted hours of my day. The location of this hotel is really good essentially right on the beach, but there are a lot of other drawbacks that make this place, not ideal

The 4-star hotel was renovated in 2024, which you can see in the foyer and the rooms through the new design and new bathrooms. I had only booked an overnight stay in a single room, but was given a double room for single occupancy. The rooms are very nicely decorated, but very small. I would therefore not book the Sofia for a longer vacation, especially since there is little closet space and little storage space in the bathroom. The location is OK. The hotel is in one of the back (3rd) rows of the beach. It is about 300 meters to the beach. It is about 5 kilometers to the airport. I did not have breakfast or dinner, so I cannot give a rating. Due to the recent opening, the hotel was extremely cheap to book (for under 50 euros). It will be more expensive in the season. And then it will be loud in the eight-story hotel with more than 300 rooms because of the proximity to Ballermann and the bars there, with the party crowd. As in many Spanish hotels, the rooms are very thin due to the way they are built, the room doors are very, very thin and let in noise. The view is not that great. My room faces the back and overlooks the neighboring Riu Festival hotel. In terms of staff, I only had to deal with reception staff, but they were all very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is very clean, and the location is very good. The bus station leading to the city center is a dozen meters away. It is very convenient, and the sea is absolutely amazing as soon as you go out! It's really comfortable to walk around the hotel directly after eating.

The hotel was merely OK for me. I wouldn't book a longer stay there due to the narrow layout, with the small, overlooked rooms facing each other. I had a single room, which was very small for its category. There's no counter space in the bathroom, which can be annoying for a longer stay. It was OK for a one-day stay. Due to the design, most rooms overlook other balconies and rooms. If you don't want to feel like you're being watched, you should always close the curtains. The room has a refrigerator, but no closet. It was annoying that I woke up shortly before 6 a.m.: I had been sleeping with the balcony door open (my room was on the top/fifth floor) when the ventilation systems on the roof started operating very loudly very early in the morning. Only after I closed the door was I able to go back to sleep. I only ate breakfast. This is served in the rather austere and functional-looking restaurant in the windowless basement. The breakfast is very plentiful and good, meeting the expectations of a 4-star hotel and truly fulfilling the needs of a hotel guest. I noticed that the staff didn't clear guests' plates in between meals and instead engaged in very loud conversations (at least four of them). But for what I paid for the hotel for one night, it was okay.

Overall good but missing the key details for example they give a kettle, tea, coffee but missing creamers/milk. They have fixed soap dispensers but they do not work properly, there is no door to the shower by design but this means the whole bathroom gets wet and steams up.
