The hotel is beautiful and quiet, and thank God all the guests I saw were respectful in their dress and manners. The hotel was also beautiful, clean and wonderful, and their breakfast was varied and beautiful as well.

The room photograph and description (1st floor 28 square metres) did not match the actual room allocated (4th floor. 18 square metre).. This is illegal in many countries, but apparently not for this hotel. The duty manager of the day was prepared to allocate a better room, but only at an extra charge. I was not happy with this so did not pay extra. Breakfast was pleasant. Lovely view. Attentive waiting staff. Location excellent. The windows of the hotel ground floor facing the sea were disgraceful. Peeling paint Abandoned empty decorating containers, food waste. Lazy maintainance and lack of pride. Clearly nobody is checking or following up. This could be a great hotel, but is a now a reminder of indifference and apathy. The check out manager was more helpful and offered an upgrade should I visit again. However both parties know that is unlikely. I filled in the hotel questionnaire recording these issues. I hope it gets to the right person. The attached photograph shows the much nicer room and embellished description in the advert. Clearly all photos and measurements need to be updated so they actually match the rooms that are being sold. Since I expressed my concerns on 20 march 2023, there has been no update.

The hotel has different types of rooms, we lived with a balcony overlooking the indoor pool, but there are also rooms in houses right on the beach! Breakfast takes place in a small restaurant on the beach, it is very simple and cute at the same time! The hospitable manager of this restaurant! Loves Russians) Open veranda, beach, sea, cats...) great! There is also a restaurant inside the hotel, but we also had dinner at the beach restaurant. The hotel beach is like between two city beaches, but has its own territory with sun loungers and beach cushions. Of course, both pillows and loungers require urgent updating! The beach is sand and there is also sand in the sea. The water was still cool, but it would be great to swim in the heat! The hotel is actively preparing for the summer season! Many rooms are being renovated! We experienced days with Wi-Fi not working, the manager called regularly and asked if everything was okay with us. There were no towels in the room upon check-in, we chalked it up to low occupancy of course...but☝️ And one more thing: something needs to be done about the laundry carts or ask the maids not to push these carts around early in the morning! It feels like a bombing has begun when they are taking them early in the morning along the pool! 🙈 Cocktails can be ordered by the pool, of course don’t expect much variety and quality) Great live music by the pool in the evening! There was a live concert inside the main building too! Hookahs can be ordered everywhere: from the pool to your room and on the beach on sun loungers. The wait staff is attentive for the most part. Mohamed Ali, who helps with things, also helps with other issues. A taxi from the hotel is a very real thing. You can go to the city. People went to the Four Season at the shopping mall! Along the embankment where the hotel is located, there are several food establishments, and there are bicycle and ATV rentals! You can go to a cafe, grab a drink and sit on the beach, tables on the sand by the water. In general, we liked it, after the necessary update it will be just great!

Disadvantages: First of all, you cannot have too many expectations for the facilities in a century-old hotel. The room is very small (there is no space when the box is spread out), and the water in the faucet is too small. Advantages: Although the hotel is old, it is not stale, the consumables are all new, the bed is very comfortable, and the facilities such as hot water kettle and refrigerator are all available. There is a beautiful little balcony The hotel still uses an old-fashioned elevator, which is a very interesting experience. It has a palace-like layout and high-quality services. The service staff are very friendly and greetings👍 This price includes breakfast and dinner (6-7 pm), which is very cost-effective, and there is also a violin performance. The location is excellent, in the center of Alexandria. You can see the entire Mediterranean bay from the top floor. Next door is the Internet celebrity coffee and dessert shop Délices Patisserie (very delicious). It is less than a kilometer walk to the Graeco-Roman Museum (the best experience in Alexandria) Attractions)

Environment: The hotel is located on the third floor of a large shopping mall. Since there is only one large floor, the corridors between the rooms, lobby and various facilities are relatively long. The shopping mall downstairs should be a high-end one in Alexandria, with Carrefour, many restaurants, shops and a cinema, which is convenient for travel and shopping. Hygiene: Although it is a little old, the rooms and various facilities are very clean, which is even more precious in Egypt. Facilities: Slippers are not provided in the room, and you need to ask for them from the front desk. There was a problem with the shower head on the night of check-in, and the hot water came out in bursts. Since it was already late at night, I barely finished the shower. In addition, the lighting inside the room is a bit insufficient and dim. Facilities: The outdoor swimming pool is large and beautiful, and there is a 24-hour gym, but there is no water in the water dispenser, and there are many unused disposable paper cups scattered on the ground without being processed. Summary: An older five-star hotel with a convenient location, good hardware but a few defects in maintenance, and the overall cost performance is still relatively high. In addition, the Asian restaurant in the hotel is a little expensive but the taste is very good, recommended to try

The food and catering service was excellent. It will be grossly unfair if we do not make special mention of the extraordinary courtesy and service rendered by one, Mr. Ahmed Masry (FB). Regret I cannot say the same for Housekeeping who had to be reminded to replace the used tumblers and replenish the water bottles. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Wonderful location - near to 80% of the sites but not many tourists. Lots of amazing bakeries and cafes nearby with a local vibe. In Alexandria there was no hassle unlike Cairo, Aswan and Luxor. Service was very kind, friendly and professional. Value for money was amazing. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and look forward to returning again.

Nice hotel only the corridors which lead to the rooms are a little dated with gray carpet in poor condition. The corridors are sad and need to be refreshed with a good lick of paint. The rooftop pool and spa may be out of order at this time of year.
