Overall a nice big hotel with excellent shared amenities.
The first room I was given didn't smell right but when I complained was promptly moved to a no carpet, low allergy room which was excellent. Decent breakfast and good bar but I cannot say the same about the restaurant which I felt was poorly manged. The waiters simply ignored you stood at the desk to get a seat - I have never had to wait for 15 whole minutes in full vicinity of seemingly busy waiters who had to literally look after 2 tables! When I finally did manage to get seated the service was acceptable and the food decent but I had never felt oh so guilty to leave a tip (I always err on the side of the poor waiters).
So - good hotel with some effort could be a great hotel. recommended with some caution.
Strategically located, only 5 min on foot from Copenhagen Central station. A lot of hotels in this area and I think Hotel Mayfair quite stood out with its bright signage and big building.
The room itself was clean and quite spacious, enough for 3 travellers. However, some things to note include - there's no fridge in the room so you will have to store your perishables in the staffs fridge in the luggage room, no kettle and also cups provided are too small for even coffee provided.
One letdown was the poor ventilation for bathroom. There was some kind of odd smell from the toilet every time we entered the room.
Staff were all attentive and helpful, they helped us with filling up hot water and storing our bags before checking in.
The hotel is very close to the expressway, the parking lot is large, and the check-in is very fast. After the clerk gets off work, you can check in on the machine (I don’t know if it’s convenient or not). The room size is okay, but there is a damp smell and no heat Kettle, there is only one elevator, there are handrails on both sides of the corridor, and the breakfast is a Danish standard breakfast.
Great place to stay - nice location, all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Got a nice view of the canal even! Reception was hard to reach via phone, but otherwise great stay - would recommend.
This is an excellent airport hotel. It has a great location (2 minutes walking distance to Terminals 2 and 3), a clean, quiet, and comfortable room, early breakfast from 3:00 a.m., regular breakfast from 5:30 a.m., and fast self-check-in and check-out.
My recent stay at the Scandic Glostrup presented a bit of a trade-off. While the hotel offered good services and a nice breakfast, its location being far from the city center was a significant factor in my experience. The journey to the heart of Copenhagen took approximately half an hour, which required some planning and consideration for transportation. This distance might be a drawback for those primarily interested in easily accessing central attractions and nightlife. However, the hotel itself provided a comfortable and well-serviced environment. The staff were helpful, and the amenities were satisfactory. I particularly enjoyed the nice breakfast, which offered a good variety and quality of food to start the day. In conclusion, Scandic Glostrup could be a suitable option for travelers who prioritize good service and a pleasant hotel experience and don't mind the commute to the city center. If being centrally located is a top priority, however, the half-hour travel time needs to be factored into the decision.
Less than 2 km from the downtown business district, about 1.5 km from the Kronborg Palace and the Maritime Museum, the beach is beautiful, the sea view is invincible, the room is small, the equipment is generally
Probably the best hotel you can ever get at this price in Denmark! The room is spacious, clean, the hallway and front is well-designed, everything spells top notch and comfortable! The customer service was helpful and friendly. We wish we could have stayed more nights here. It's 20mins to center via metro, one stop away from a rather big mall with a hypermarket (or 15mins walk). It's also near a nice eatery and a supermarket. The area is not that developed yet so it's not so crowded and noisy. Love this place.
Great hotel and convenient to walk to all major attractions and city centre. Around 20mins from airport by metro and a 5minute walk to hotel. The staff were very friendly and made sure to leave a birthday treat for us which was appreciated. For the price of the hotel it's a pity that they only provide one bottle of water and later charge 55k for a new bottle. Most hotels will replenish this free daily. Overall very comfortable stay.

GGuest UserGreat place to stay - nice location, all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. Got a nice view of the canal even! Reception was hard to reach via phone, but otherwise great stay - would recommend.
GGuest UserNeat enough old hotel in the heart of Copenhagen near all things of interest, we enjoyed being able to walk out and find food, transport, parks and shops close by. The hotel itself is a classic old Copenhagen building which shows its age and while I'm sure some find it charming, I would say it's a bit below the standard you come to expect from more modern buildings. The staff was friendly and wanted to accommodate us although the cleaning staff seemed so into their own business that they wouldn't even notice us as we tried getting into the hotel's single elevator, rushing in before us so we almost collided as it didn't seem they were gonna come back inside the lift having just exited. No polite apologies either and on top of that the hallway was at almost all times we came through them, day or night, full of trolleys with used towels, jackets hanging on random hooks and generally just felt cluttered. Don't know if this was on all floors but it gave a weird impression disorder walking through the already-creaky hallway.
As for the room itself, it covered our needs and we didn't have issues with noises from other guests other than those walking through the hallway but at least the walls, floor and ceiling didn't cause disturbance. The beds were a little too soft for our liking and left us feeling sore the day after. Also a shame we didn't get the double-bed we had requested during the booking process. Somehow they mixed that up and reception staff didn't seem to know what our booking involved when we showed up. We decided the twin beds provided could be pushed together instead and leave it at that as we had been up at 4 in the morning and were exhausted. A final note on the room would be the weird furniture choices. You get these bed side tables that look like a school kid's wood working project, kind of rough around the edges and felt very cheap and sort of sloppy from a decorating point of view. In contrast, the reception cafe has a wonderful interior and is very charming so I was a fair bit disappointed that the room gave me this impression.
All in all, the hotel covered the features it should but I had really expected better from the impression I got when making the booking originally. Location is, however, enough of a pull to make up for the negative aspects. Perfect location for sightseeing and access everywhere.
GGuest UserThe location is actually great. But the pavement half way through is uneven and it was hard pushing my luggage. If you have light luggage you can walk. If you have heavy luggage and 3 bags like I did. Get the cab or shuttle. The shuttle is only on weekdays. I flew on a weekend. So I had to get a cab.
Service: they were very nice all round. Especially the restaurant staff. They were absolutely slammed during service but kept apologising while I waited for someone to attend to me. And were always polite. Lots of people at reception so no major queues and able to help with my queries even googling the cost in my home currency for me.
Cleanliness: room was super clean and I LOVE the grohe shower. They offer shower gel, hand wash and some form of conditioning shampoo. Unfortunately that doesn’t work for my hair so I didn’t use it. But if your like me and need separate conditioning just bring some conditioner. If not your set.
Amenities: they have a pool. Though since I live in Asia this isn’t some big thing. But my friend said it is expensive in terms of use fees. If I remember correctly hotel guests can use it at certain times.
The sky bar is lovely… it got very busy in the evening. Great view, even if your room doesn’t face the water just head here to relax with the view.
Restaurant was good for breakfast. Lots of options, including organic options. English full breakfast station. Yoghurt and cereal options. Bread and cheese stations. Personally I like pancakes but they had none. Otherwise great. It’s buffet so you can load up for the day.
I didn’t attend the lunch and dinner dining though they were super nice. There are sandwich and snack options in the lobby. Also some basic needs such as tampons and toiletries sold.
Surrounding they have the cafe Krysten perle which appears lovely from the outside. I just personally chose to skip dinner so I didn’t eat here either. But it’s a super easy walk.
The aquarium is lovely. Also super easy walk.
Quite a nice place to walk a bit.
Overall had a good stay. Great for a one night stay with the added aquarium trip. Would like to stay again though it really needs a shuttle on weekends.
SsuesueniamniamThis is a self check in hotel, they will email room number and access guide a day before your check in date.
I was surprised that the room was ready before check-in time, so that i don’t have to store my luggage to where-else.
There is no lift, but thanks god my room is on ground level..
No kettle & no hair dryer provided in the room..
Simple breakfast provided in the morning
Conclusion : You get what you pay for
GGuest UserThe staff were friendly, even at the early hours of the morning, and it’s like 2 minutes or even less to the metro station (Nørrebro) on the main city line. Very easy to get to and the beds were super comfy
GGabrielle LeungA very cute and suitable place for solo travellers, I am a 160cm girl, and stayed in the top room. Service was really nice the moment we stepped in, staff helped me checked in when I had some issues. With my height, I can sit up straight on the bed which was very comfortable. If you are lucky enough, you can get a room that are rather inside instead of near the main corridor where lots of people will walk pass, which was nice cause it was quiet. There are two main bathrooms and sauna, I didn't use the sauna so I cont comment in that but the bathrooms and showers were nice, the only problem was there were no conditioners so if any girls want to use conditioner remember to bring along with you. There are also no flip flops provided so also remember to bring that. Outside in the social area, there is food and drinks that can be bought as well as vending machines if you have forgotten anything. Additionally, there is a public kitchen where you can use the fridge, microwave, and kettle, etc. Inside the rooms, you can change lights using the app and can also connect to the Bluetooth. Highly recommend for introvert solo travellers!! Definitely an experience to try
LLilian. The two male receptionists at the night shift are fabulous. They are not only nice and helpful in giving grocery and money exchange information, but also very willing to share the Copenhagen culture with us.
They are very friendly which has given us remarkable hospitality.
The room is not big but very enough for 2 person, yet, the tidiness is satisfying with this price. The window outside is the road and sea, quiet and beautiful, very enjoyable living.
There is no toothpaste, toothbrush or slippers, please prepare for yourself, given that the hotel price is really low compared to other options.
Will definitely recommend to friends or family who wanna come visit Copenhagen.
ZzymfycThe only advantage of this hotel is that it is conveniently located near the central railway station, next to the subway m3 & 4, and there is a convenient 5c bus to the airport (cash only), and it is only 300 meters away from the side door of the railway station.
Next, let's talk about the magical foreign hotel services:
1. Early check-in charges 200dkk
2. Luggage storage, 10dkk/h, free storage is only in a few lockers
3. Check-out time is 11 am, late charge 300
4. The curtains are very light-transmitting, and the room feels bright at 7 am
Through this hotel, I fully appreciate the difference in service. Domestic hotel peers are too excellent, and the price of downtown hotels in Colombia is really far ahead, basically no one is less than 2k.
MmariochristophorouExcellent Location, but Room for Improvement in Services
The hotel’s location is ideal, with direct access to the lake and a beautiful surrounding area. Regarding amenities, while there are several options (sauna, gym, steam bath), the overall experience does not match that of other Marriott hotels I have visited.
There were some shortcomings in the room that should not have been present. For instance, the shower gel dispenser was empty upon my arrival, and I had to notify the reception. Items such as toothbrushes, bathrobes, and slippers were not provided in the room but could be collected from the entrance. I would prefer these essentials to be available in the room initially.
The breakfast was satisfactory, though not as rich as in other Marriott locations. There was a delay in the process of entering the restaurant, with only one staff member handling guest seating. This occasionally led to wait times of up to 10 minutes during peak hours (notably on 4 out of the 8 days of my stay).
However, the staff was impeccable—extremely polite, professional, and always willing to assist. If some improvements are made in amenities and organization, the hotel could offer a more complete and enjoyable stay.
