"I was very satisfied with Wakeup Copenhagen. Due to a silly mistake by DSB, I missed my flight and was forced to stay in Copenhagen for a night. This hotel was a great place to land – affordable and with a good atmosphere. The room was a bit small but very comfortable, and the view from the window overlooked København H station, which was nice.
After checking out at 11 AM the next day, I stayed on the first floor of the hotel until 5 PM because my flight wasn't until 10 PM. No hotel staff bothered or rushed me during that time, and both times I went to the front desk to ask for the restroom key, they happily provided it. I'm very grateful to them; it put a happy end to what started as an unpleasant experience. I will definitely consider this hotel again next time I'm in Copenhagen. Highly recommended."

"I highly recommend Wakeup Copenhagen Borgergade to anyone visiting Copenhagen. The hotel’s greatest advantage is undoubtedly its outstanding location. Most of the city’s iconic attractions are within easy walking distance, making it the perfect base for exploring Copenhagen.
The rooms are spotless, well-maintained, and comfortable. I also appreciated how peaceful the hotel is. Guests respect one another, creating a quiet and relaxing atmosphere without noise or disturbances.
Another major advantage is the vibrant neighborhood. The hotel is surrounded by numerous cafés, restaurants, and nightlife, yet the rooms remain remarkably quiet, allowing for a great night’s sleep.

"Stayed in a suite. Nice room, a little dark for my taste but it seems intentional. Location is fantastic and the staff are super kind and helpful. "I stayed here on a solo trip! The room was adorable with a sloped ceiling and a window that felt like an attic room, and I had such a wonderful time. I could see seagulls and the morning sun from the window, making it so cozy that I just wanted to relax at the hotel. The wooden floorboards were also lovely, and it felt like I had my own little room, allowing me to travel as if I were living there, which made me very happy. Above all, the reception staff were incredibly kind, and I really felt the warmth of Danish people. It's about a 10-minute walk from the central station, but it's in the opposite direction from Strøget and Nyhavn, so be aware that you'll have a bit of a walk to get to the tourist spots!"

Carrying heavy bags up and down is quite a hassle, especially since it's unattended. I guess that's understandable for a youth hostel."

The room, though not large, was well-designed, clean, and tidy. The bed was comfortable, and all basic amenities were provided. The bathroom was a bit compact, but perfectly functional for daily use. The hotel offers self-service check-in and check-out, which was simple and convenient.
The hotel's location is excellent, close to both the Ørestad Metro and train stations, all within walking distance. There's also the large Fields shopping center nearby. It's super convenient for getting to Copenhagen city center by metro or Copenhagen Airport by train, making it ideal for tourists.
Breakfast was also more extensive than I expected, with croissants, bread, ham, salami, cheese, eggs, and vegetables like cucumbers, cherry tomatoes, and bell peppers. There was a good variety, and it was a very decent hotel breakfast.
The only thing I think could be improved is the soundproofing in the rooms; it's a bit weak. Sometimes I could hear noise from the hallway or other rooms, which might be an issue for light sleepers.
Overall, with its convenient transportation, clean rooms, good breakfast, and decent value for money, it was a very satisfactory stay. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Copenhagen.

Came here based on a recommendation from Xiaohongshu, but I have to say it's more about looks than functionality. The design is really strong, but the actual room functionality for staying here is pretty mediocre. I wouldn't recommend it for business travelers. The room is very dark, only suitable for a leisurely stay. Overall, this hotel feels like it's all style and no substance.

Guest UserThe location is a bit out of the way, requiring about a 20-minute bus ride to the city center.
As for the accommodation, it was my first time staying in a 'camping-style' hostel. Essentially, they make maximum use of a large room, using tents to create smaller, individual spaces. This is supposed to differentiate it from a dormitory with dozens of beds in one big room. However, the actual experience isn't fundamentally different from a hostel with 30-40 beds in a single room. The tents offer no soundproofing, and the beds inside each tent are practically touching.
On the positive side, the washroom facilities are quite good. It's clear they are regularly cleaned, and there are plenty of them.

Guest User1. Located right in the city center, a leisurely stroll to the New Port and back only takes about 2-3 hours.
2. It's an old building but newly renovated. The room isn't small and the decor is cozy.
3. I saw some feedback that the elevator only worked on half-floors, and it seems the hotel noticed because it's fixed now. On my first stay, if you have luggage, they'll take you to an elevator that doesn't require climbing stairs (it's a bit out of the way, behind the restaurant).
4. Two points to note:
(1) The shower stall is particularly small; you'll hit the walls just trying to turn around.
(2) There are no facial tissues. (I checked the supermarket, facial tissues are quite expensive, while toilet paper is fine. It's hard to say if this is for ”sustainability” or cost-cutting. If it's truly for environmental protection, they could learn from some places and just use hands and water, no paper needed at all!)

The room is pretty clean except there was no curtain for each bed and bathroom was tiny than expected. The hostel is nearby the metro station and easy to walk down to the city center. It’s surrounded by a small lake, people used to running and jogging there a lot.
Also, You can pay 100 DKK for late check-out and stay until 1:00 PM. But no early check-in was available. Instead there’s a storage downstairs which charge me 2 hours for 25 DKK and 6 hours for 40 DKK.

凌凌漆We had an amazing family stay at Scandic Copenhagen! The family room was exceptionally spacious, modern, and clean, giving us plenty of room to relax without feeling cramped. The location is perfect—just a short walk from the Central Station and only about 7 minutes to Tivoli Gardens, which was super convenient with kids.
