The place is in quite bad condition and the staff very unfriendly. I read on Google that they would take your phone to leave a great review with it so I refused to give it to them. He still “needed to take a picture of my booking info because being short sightseeing” but then could read my translation app no problem… The room itself was good and the shuttle came to bring me to the airport (just a couple minutes late). The elevator stops one floor before the rooms so I almost left my suitcase downstairs but all the suitcases there were absolutely empty… it made me feel like they try to have people believe that they can leave they luggage down for the night but not with the best intentions. Regardless, I decided to bring it up and carry it in the stairs to feel better overnight. Cheap and okay room for one night near the airport, that’s all.

Hotel location and price Even pleasant room is great. Especially thank you to kind employee Leo. Thanks to you, I had a good trip. If I come to Shanghai again, I will decide this place.
위치 진짜 좋고 영어가 가능한 직원이 있어서 불편함 없이 지냈어요. 한국분들은 꼭 여기로 가세요. 진짜 좋음! 냄새 안나고 쾌적해요

As a long-standing five-star hotel, I found it exceeded my expectations! My impression of older five-star hotels is usually that they have great views but outdated rooms. However, the Grand Hyatt's rooms are very modern, with integrated control panels on both sides of the bed. The rooms are incredibly spacious, and most importantly, they don't feel dirty despite their age; in fact, they feel exceptionally clean, especially the towels, which were very clean and new. The toiletries were my favorite, BALMAIN! The best part, though, was the excellent service. I was traveling with two children, and the friendly front desk lady generously gave me two complimentary kids' breakfasts, and you know how top-notch the Hyatt's breakfast is! The breakfast view is superb, directly facing the Oriental Pearl TV Tower – who could resist a breakfast like that? Coincidentally, it snowed while I was there, and I could even watch the snowflakes from my room, which was fantastic!

Once again, I stayed at the Shangri-La, and the room was clean and tidy. The view of Lujiazui's 'three-piece suit' outside the window was stunning. The lobby was festively decorated, creating a joyous atmosphere. From the doorman to the lobby and room service, everyone was warm, responsive, and accommodating. I had a comfortable and satisfying stay!

I was visiting relatives in Shanghai and didn't want to trouble them with arrangements, so I just picked a hotel close to Nanjing Road. I'm really satisfied and highly recommend it to everyone. Here's why:
1. **Excellent Location:** After a long day of exploring Nanjing Road, my partner and I were exhausted, so it was super convenient to just walk 200 meters back to the hotel.
2. **Outstanding Service:** The service was impeccable. Ms. Starry Cui at the front desk was so warm and generous, and another gentleman who checked us in was also very polite. They even upgraded us to a suite, which we really appreciate!
3. **Fantastic Food Options Nearby:** There are so many delicious places to eat close by, including white-cut chicken, yakitori, and Cantonese cuisine, all within 100 meters of the hotel. It was great to have a few drinks and then just head straight back to our room.
4. **Thoughtful Concierge:** The concierge was very attentive to the elderly in our group, which I really appreciated and added a lot to our positive experience.
5. **Classic 5-Star Room:** The room had a standard 5-star setup with a somewhat retro feel and a bathtub, which my partner absolutely loved.

This hotel in Shanghai truly made my trip! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt completely at ease. The concierge, a really great guy, saw me struggling with two large suitcases and immediately offered to help. He was quick and efficient, guiding me all the way to the front desk and even giving a detailed introduction to the hotel facilities and nearby attractions. He was as welcoming as an old friend. After checking in, I was even more surprised by the room—it was impeccably clean and tidy. The bedding was spotless white, and the bathroom had a well-designed wet/dry separation, with no water stains or strange smells. It felt so comfortable and reassuring to stay there.
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to Nanjing Road East, making shopping, dining, and exploring incredibly convenient. The robot delivery service was the most interesting part; shortly after ordering, I received a cute voice notification. The robot navigated precisely, and the pick-up process was simple and hygienic—both novel and practical, offering a full dose of tech-savvy fun.
My entire stay was excellent. The staff, whether encountered in the hallway or when asking questions, always responded enthusiastically. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The room was clean, the location was superb, the service was thoughtful, and the facilities were modern.

The location is super central and convenient for getting anywhere. The staff honestly told us that the Oriental Pearl TV Tower view was partially obstructed, but it was still stunning. They even provided disposable bath liners and milk bath packets for the bathtub. Xiao Wu was incredibly helpful, always answering our questions promptly and efficiently. A big thank you to Xiao Wu! The only minor issue was the front desk male staff member's insincere expression when we checked in at 6 PM on January 12th, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. However, the front desk staff who checked us in late at night were very friendly despite the late hour. Overall, the staff's attitude was excellent! The hotel definitely has some age, but the TV was smart, and the breakfast was refreshing and cozy. All in all, a good experience!

My nth time in Shanghai, and this time I really wanted a river-view room, so I chose the Kempinski, and it was a great experience! Waking up and opening the curtains to see the Huangpu River truly made this northerner very happy. It's right across from the Bund, next to the 'Three Piece Set' (Lujiazui skyscrapers), so the location is excellent and convenient.
**Facilities**: The hotel's overall decor is decent, and the bathroom is really impressive. The shower, toilet, and sink areas are all separate and very spacious.
**Service**: I was quite surprised that when I called the front desk and room service in the evening, no one answered… Also, I had to go downstairs to pick up my takeout myself, and there wasn't even a robot, which was also pretty shocking…

I've stayed in the family room, twin room, and king room at this hotel. The first two are the same size, while the king room's bedroom is a bit smaller than those two. However, the other facilities are just as good, and the beds are equally clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff is meticulous and responsible; they clean the rooms immaculately. The service is friendly, and they're always happy to answer any questions. The front desk staff, Lucky and Steven, are exceptionally good – very professional, responsible, and caring. Oh, and there's also a young, handsome front desk guy who speaks fluent English and can communicate seamlessly with foreign guests. This place truly has hidden gems!

This is my Nth time here, and it's perfect for guests catching early flights. I stayed in the South Wing; the room was quiet and clean, the hot water was great, and the heating was strong. The room's 'energy field' was good too, so no bad dreams. It's just a five-minute walk to the airport check-in counters. Breakfast didn't have many options – I just had some toast and yogurt before checking out.

GGuest UserThere wasn't a single moment of perfunctory service throughout my stay; the attention to detail was exceptional, making me truly feel at home. The service was professional, the staff were friendly and efficient, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. This kind of dedicated service truly deserves a five-star recommendation, and I hope it continues!

CccttpMoyu Movie Hotel in Shanghai offers a unique stay with a strong movie-themed concept that sets it apart from typical business hotels. From the moment you enter, the hotel creates a cinematic atmosphere, making it especially appealing for film lovers and travelers looking for something a bit different.

Outstanding
HHunter Jackson TonyI booked the Novotel Shanghai Pudong Kangqiao for my classmates visiting Shanghai this time, and the experience absolutely exceeded expectations – I have to give it a glowing review!
First off, its biggest highlight is the location. It's incredibly close to Disney! The hotel offers a dedicated free shuttle bus to Disney, which takes about ten minutes. This saves the hassle of taking a taxi or the subway, making it super convenient for those who want to get to the park early for queuing. Plus, the hotel also provides airport transfer services. My classmates were able to take the hotel's car directly from the airport, saving them the trouble of lugging luggage around and navigating, which was incredibly stress-free.
I booked a family room for the three girls, and the space was very generous, not at all cramped. The beds were also just the right size and very comfortable to sleep in. The cleanliness of the room was impeccable; it was spotless, which made their stay very reassuring.
The hotel environment is also excellent. The decor is modern and elegant, and the common areas are great for photos. My classmates mentioned that the lobby had a lovely fragrance, and the check-in process was very smooth.
I must give a special shout-out to the service here. From communication during the booking process to fulfilling various needs during their stay, the staff were responsive and enthusiastic. My classmates accidentally left something in the room, and when they contacted the hotel, it was quickly found and safely kept, which made them feel very reassured.
The only minor detail is that some facilities might not be the newest models, but they are very well-maintained and completely functional, not affecting the overall experience.
All in all, this was a very successful booking experience. Whether it was the location, room comfort, or service level, everything was impeccable. It's especially suitable for friends visiting Disney – highly recommended! If I have friends coming to Shanghai again, I'll definitely choose this place!
BBowubuThis guesthouse was absolutely fantastic! The decor was lovely, and everything was spotless. It was fully equipped with a kettle, microwave, washing machine, air purifier, and even kitchen utensils. The shower had excellent water pressure, and I really appreciated the individually wrapped disposable towels – it felt very hygienic. The shampoo and body wash were standard supermarket brands, which was fine, and the hairdryer had good power. Honestly, everything was perfect. When we noticed the complimentary bottled water was out, they immediately ordered more for us. The service was superb too. I was very satisfied with our stay.

Room: Fantastic
Beds were huge & comfortable - we had an upgrade to a larger room. The shower and shower toiletries were so refreshing.
Towels were lovely soft & clean.
Breakfast was the best I have had for a long time. Lived the rice, fried eggs, noodles , fruit vegetables. Even clams one morning. Great variety of drinks.
The chief and staff were very happy & helpful.
Extremely clean.
I used the laundry room which also had a tumble dryer. This was useful due to travelling on to Beijing afterwards.
The other family rooms have slides and are duplex.
Sue the swimming pool is great in the summer.
Excellent price , excellent choice for Families going to Disneyland and other local trips.
Loved being able to go along the local street to see Shanghai local food, shops and life.
Seems to be a family run business which is lovely to support.
Location is great for the local shops , food, 7/11 supermarket for snacks & drinks
Restaurants and food for locals which was delicious and a great price.
Shuttle bus excellent. Taxi ( Didi) was £3 back from Disneyland . £11 to Shanghai Greenhouse Gardens ( evening ticket £5.40) this is an amazing trip not to be missed.
MM773011****Traveling solo, I picked this place and it definitely didn't disappoint! The room had all the appliances and daily necessities, and every corner was spotless. The view from the window was expansive, and the environment was really peaceful. The front desk and the cleaning staff were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. My solo travel experience here was absolutely fantastic.
GGuest UserThe service was excellent and very attentive, especially the front desk staff who were incredibly enthusiastic. Breakfast was also quite good. The hotel is conveniently located right across from a subway station. The room was decent too. Thumbs up!
WWenxiaomoxywThe hotel is quite old; the facilities really show their age. I wouldn't recommend buying access to the executive lounge – it's a total rip-off, seriously. There are no freshly cooked hot dishes, and the lunch selection is incredibly sparse. On the second day, I went up to the 52nd floor for breakfast because I just couldn't face the lounge again. The room amenities are also quite dated. During evening turndown service, they only replenished the water and toiletries, but didn't even restock the toothpaste. On the positive side, the staff at the executive lounge and the front desk were all very friendly. Parking is also self-paid. It cost me 188 RMB for one night, though I used IFC points to cover 80 RMB of that.
GGuest UserMy wife and I started our 3 week honeymoon in China with a 4 night stay at Banyan Tree in Shanghai. Both the hotel and the service we received was so exceptional that we actually changed our plans to make an additional stop at the hotel on the way home. On arrival Sam recommended an upgrade to the panorama room and the view of the Bund was incredible. We entered the room with a lovely display to celebrate our recent wedding. Vicky was on hand with any queries we had via WeChat and was able to coordinate the delivery of our suitcases from Beijing. The concierge Michael actually made payment for our cases on our behalf as we hadn't reached the hotel yet which was really appreciated! Other highlights were the breakfast and the attentiveness of the door staff.
