I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from each morning. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day.
The location is also a big plus—conveniently situated close to everything you need, which made exploring the area very easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. Special thanks to Tim and the team for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

The hotel is perfectly located near Nanjing pedestrian street and The Bund. The room is very spacious and clean. The staff are very nice and helpful, especially Susu. She is really helpful when we need any information. Thank you very much! Would like to stay again when coming to Shanghai.

This hotel was a last-minute booking for an overnight stay during our layover at Shanghai Pudong Airport. I feel it's the best value for money, with excellent environment and service, among hotels near the airport. It's a Vienna Hotels chain property, and I've stayed at their hotels in other cities before; the decor style is consistent. They offer airport shuttle service, and breakfast starts as early as 5:30 AM, which is incredibly thoughtful! The immediate surroundings of the hotel are just okay, mainly because Pudong Airport is quite far. However, the area around the hotel itself is decent, with plenty of dining options, and public transportation is easily accessible.

Wonderful! Very convenient location, no need for a transfer, which is great after a nine-hour flight. I arrived early, but a huge thank you to Yulia, the receptionist—she got me through the check-in process quickly and explained everything. The hotel itself is very quiet, you wouldn't even guess it's an airport. The room is clean, spacious, has everything you need, and there's a great view of the garden from the window. The breakfast is delicious and varied, there are traditional dishes and eropean style food. Plus, the metro and Maglev lines are nearby, so you can easily get into the city without any transfers. I highly recommend it.

I brought an inspection team to Shanghai this time, and our itinerary was packed. I initially thought the hotel would just be a place to sleep, but the Pudong Shangri-La truly exceeded my expectations.
The moment I stepped into the room, the Bund river view outside the window immediately washed away most of my fatigue. Especially at night, gazing at the lit-up Huangpu River really makes you marvel at Shanghai's charm. What I want to praise most is their service – it wasn't a cold, distant politeness, but a genuine feeling of 'home.'
Because I had meetings, I often left early and returned late. Once, I casually asked where I could find hot congee. Not only did the front desk staff patiently give me directions, but the next morning at breakfast, they actually proactively asked me if I had rested well. This feeling of being cared for is truly heartwarming in fast-paced Lujiazui.
And the view from the Executive Lounge is absolutely breathtaking! Sipping coffee while looking at the Oriental Pearl Tower, my efficiency for organizing inspection notes significantly improved there. The breakfast selection was so extensive it was almost overwhelming, and every bite showcased the exquisite quality expected of a five-star hotel.
Even though it's an older landmark in Shanghai, its steady elegance and just-right warmth still make it my top choice. Next time I'm in Shanghai, I'll definitely stay here again!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World. The experience exceeded our expectations in every way.
The view from the hotel is truly unbeatable — especially overlooking the vibrant city skyline and People’s Square. The location is incredibly convenient, with easy access to shopping, dining, and major attractions, making it perfect for both leisure and business travelers.
What made our stay especially memorable was the exceptional service. Duty Manager Justin was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. We had several special requests during our stay, and he handled each one with great care and consideration, making us feel genuinely valued and well taken care of.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai and would definitely stay here again.

Let's start with the downsides:
1. For food delivery, there's no robot service, so you have to go downstairs to pick it up.
2. Some items in the room (specifically, handmade purple rose soaps) were cleared out and presumably thrown away as trash.
3. Soundproofing is poor. (It really depends on whether you have a Korean couple next door.) They were loud until 3 AM.
4. The front desk staff's problem-solving skills are mediocre. They didn't smile, were silent, and showed no expression.
5. The floor wasn't swept clean, and there were paint flakes.
On the positive side: The breakfast was good, the restaurant staff at the entrance were very welcoming, and the coffee shop on the first floor was also quite friendly.
Improvements needed: For solo travelers, rooms next to single occupancy rooms should also be for solo travelers. Please don't put couples in the room right next to a single room. This feels like an inefficient use of resources.

I had a slight delay checking out, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating and understanding – very human-centered. They didn't rush me at all; their service is really flexible.
Overall, it was impeccable! The hotel is high-end and stylish. They were always responsive to questions and requests, making it a fantastic experience. Getting around is super convenient; there are several popular spots right downstairs. The riverside is less than 900 meters away by foot, perfect for cycling and enjoying the river view. Plus, there are great Halal dining options nearby, including a Xinjiang restaurant, a noodle shop, and A Xiya...

The main selling point is the location, right above the subway station between the two terminals. It's a 5-minute walk to the terminals.
It's a bit old; don't expect smart room controls. There's only one bedside outlet, located next to the nightstand. It has a typical ten-year-old decor style.
It's fine for a one-night stay if you prioritize location; it has all the basics.

CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed.
Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free.
The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all.
Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!
GGuest UserThis classic hotel lives up to its reputation. The facilities are comprehensive and well-maintained, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. Concierges Aaron and Katrina were particularly patient and detailed, making communication pleasant and smooth. Overall, the stay was comfortable and delightful.
The hotel has a timeless charm, beautifully preserved like a beauty who defies age. The Long Bar, specially recommended by the concierge, is also exceptional. With the Bund and Oriental Pearl Tower outside the window and the Waldorf Astoria inside, it offers a truly superb experience of Shanghai's Bund. Highly recommended! 👍
However, do note that you need to be on a higher floor to enjoy a full panoramic view of the Bund. The picture shows the view from the 17th floor.
MMaria.ezI booked this hotel expecting a proper 4-star stay, but unfortunately, it felt closer to a hostel in terms of comfort and service.
The biggest issue was the room temperature. The AC only works for cooling — even in cold weather. The receptionist told us at check-in that there’s no heating. I was traveling with my son, and after a freezing night, he got sick and I woke up with a sore throat. Going to a cold bed after a long day is just miserable. The cleaner kept turning the AC back to cooling mode after each cleaning, so we’d return to an even colder room.
There’s a smart toilet with a warm seat — ironic, given the rest of the room was like an icebox. No bathrobe either. Shower was fine, but that’s about it.
Breakfast was very mediocre. Rice and side dishes were cold, the place was overcrowded, and many tables stayed dirty for a long time with no staff helping. The only positive: coffee was good.
Service attitude felt like “whatever mode” — not what you’d expect from a 4-star. I asked for an upper floor with a view during booking, but it was completely ignored. I chose a room with a window — ended up on the 3rd floor facing another building’s windows, with rubbish bins downstairs. I could see into the neighbors’ apartments. Worst view I’ve ever had.
They also claim on their website that currency exchange is available, but when I asked, staff told me to wait for banks to open and go there myself.
The location is just okay — 10 min walk to Yu Garden and subway, 25 min to Nanjing Lu. Laundry room is a plus (free detergent), but expect a queue in the evening.
Overall, this is a very average hotel. Definitely not 4-star. If there’s no other choice, it’s tolerable — but there are many better places to stay near Yu Garden. I would not recommend this hotel.
EEKoRyoGreat location with convenient transportation. The service was excellent, and it's very close to the US Consulate, which was a huge plus. The bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep! It's super convenient whether you're here for a job interview, a relaxing staycation, or exploring the city as a tourist.

GGuest UserMy stay at the W Shanghai - The Bund was truly warmed by Karina from the loyalty team. Seeing that I was injured, Karina took meticulous care of me throughout my stay, proactively offering help and thoughtful well-wishes, which made me feel incredibly at ease. Not only was the service impeccable, but her attitude was also incredibly gentle and considerate. I truly felt the W Hotel's emphasis and care for its guests. Highly recommend, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time!
GGuest UserThe Peninsula Shanghai, nestled by the Waibaidu Bridge, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and the Bund, might not be described as 'convenient' in the traditional sense, but I found its location perfect for soaking in the unique Shanghainese vibe! The service here is wonderfully old-school and distinctively 'Shanghai' – unhurried yet efficient, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of guest needs. The rooms are classic Peninsula style, with well-defined functional areas, superb soundproofing, and impeccable cleanliness and maintenance, putting my mind completely at ease. The dining experience was a genuine delight; both breakfast and the Cantonese restaurant in the evening were so memorable. I particularly loved the evening bath ritual – pressing the SPA button and immersing myself in the tranquil, ethereal music, it felt like I was back in a cozy island retreat! My two-day Peninsula experience was a solid 12 out of 10. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to truly experience its unique charm!
LLingling Kotchanan Tanrattanakul TanrattanakulJust the first night we had problems. From 11 PM onwards, there was a lot of noise coming from what sounded like a bar outside. Both the music and people talking and laughing loudly could be heard clearly in our room, even though we double-checked and the windows were tightly shut.
We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM that night, very tired. It was our first time in Shanghai, and we had an early flight from Chiang Mai (waking up at 4 AM to get to the airport) and walked a lot upon arrival. Discovering this situation made us want to change rooms. We even had to cancel our tour plans for the next morning because we couldn't sleep. We called the front desk for earplugs, but we're not used to them and couldn't sleep with them in. Thankfully, the hotel helped us switch rooms first thing in the morning.
After we changed rooms, we didn't encounter any more issues.
The hotel's location is good.
The bed is comfortable.
The hot water is good.
The service is excellent.
We would come back again.

CCurious TravellerGreat location if you are heading for Disneyland or has an early flight to catch the next morning. Otherwise it is quite far from Shanghai city center - JingAn area- with no traffic - 45 min taxi ride) The hotel offers free shuttle to Disneyland which departs the hotel at 7:20am; and returns to the hotel at 10:20pm. It was a bit late for us since we finished watching the fireworks at 830pm. (Disneyland closes at 9:30pm ). So we just took a taxi (very few people waiting and cost ~RMB50; while the online car service costs ~R30 but the waiting area was very congested.
The free shuttle to Putong airport departs on the hour and starts from 4 or 5am and takes less than 30min. Need to book one day in advance at the front desk.
Our 3 persons family room has a double bed and a proper single bed( not fold up bed). Spacious enough for luggages.
The negatives - we booked and paid for 3 persons - but hotel only offered breakfast for 2. We booked 2 nights but only has breakfast for one day. Strangest arrangement I have ever seen.
BF - has reasonable options of Chinese and western cuisine . Noodle Bar was the best.
Night snack- also has noodle bar with dumplings and congee.
UUeeLeeHost are super friendly and helpful, the location is very convenient and easy to find, near tourist attractions and shopping areas. The place is just in the local area with you can see real local people life. The room is clean, nice and cozy, you will got everything you need during the stay like towels, shampoo, dryer, toothbrush etc., they even have projector you can use, I really have a good time with my friends, we spend night time ordering food and snack and have a small party, watching our favorite shows. Recommend for anyone who staying with friends or family.

PPimmy**We really happy with our stay. Although staff speak limited English, they are able to use translate. The bus to and from Disneyland work well. We like the amenities in the room. The towel is clean and soft. Breakfast is also nice. We can wash our clothes too.
