The Da Zhong Airport Hotel (Dazhong Konggang Binguan) is located between terminals 1 and 2 of Pudong International Airport, each of which is just a 5-minute walk from the other. This Shanghai hotel is split into two separate areas. The South Villa (Airport Hotel) is considered a hotel and has a variety of room types ranging from round-bed rooms to suites. The North Villa (Motel) is a less expensivehotel and has has queen and twin rooms.The on-site Merrylin Restaurant serves a menu of Chinese and international fare. Several fast food outlets and other eateries are on hand in the airport so there is no shortage of dining options.Meeting facilities are available as well as paid parking.
"The Da Zhong Airport Hotel is a very convenient option for a long layover, as it is located directly inside Terminal 1 of the airport.
Check-in was quick and easy. We booked a non-smoking room, and although we initially walked into the wrong wing and were worried because of the strong smell of cigarettes, our actual room was in a different wing and had no cigarette smell at all.
The room was quite small and a little worn, but clean and had everything we needed for an overnight stay: a small double bed, desk and chair, armchair, private bathroom with a shower, toiletries, shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, hairdryer, disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste, and slippers.
Our overnight layover lasted around 14 hours, so we had breakfast in the morning. The selection was quite limited, with rice, salad, pasta, boiled eggs, toast, yogurt, coffee, and juice, but it was still enough for a filling breakfast. I would have liked a little more variety.
One thing to note is that breakfast is served until 9:30 a.m., even though some information says it is available until 10:00 a.m. Also, breakfast costs 30 yuan, which was a little confusing because I had booked a room with breakfast included.
Overall, a good and very convenient option if you just need a clean place to rest during a long layover without leaving the airport."

"This hotel's main advantage is its proximity to Disneyland, making it an excellent base for a Disney trip. Since we weren't spending much time in the room during the day, just returning to sleep at night, it offered great value for money from that perspective.
The facilities are average. The hotel has three floors; rooms on the ends have windows, while those in the middle have 'dark windows' that face the hallway. The rooms are densely packed, and it seems to attract a lot of international guests, so it doesn't feel very spacious, and the smell wasn't great. Cleanliness was just okay. However, the surrounding area is quite good. Again, for a Disney stopover, it's perfect.
The hotel provides shuttle services from Huaxia East Road subway station, to Pudong Airport, and scheduled transfers to Disneyland. It also includes two breakfasts daily, and they're quite flexible about kids joining. Considering all this, the price is incredibly reasonable – you really can't ask for more. It's just what you need to shower and get a good night's rest after a long day.
Upon checkout, the front desk even offers complimentary small Disney keychains, which is a nice touch. The amenities around the hotel are excellent: there's a mall across the street with a KFC, a Xi'an-style BBQ place nearby, and a Meiyijia convenience store. Dining and shopping options are plentiful and convenient. The hotel also rents strollers that can be taken directly onto the Disney shuttle bus. This makes it super easy to push your child around the park, and it's 30 RMB cheaper than the official park rental (60 RMB vs. 90 RMB for a larger stroller from the hotel).
From this viewpoint, as a hotel for a Disney trip, it's definitely worth recommending. Just don't expect too much beyond that."

"The hotel is well-located, right in the middle of the pedestrian street. We stayed in a standard room, but after our flight was canceled due to a typhoon, we extended our stay for another day and were moved to an upgraded room. The room was fantastic, we were probably lucky. It had two rooms: a living room with a sofa and a magnificent view of the pedestrian street. Besides a tea set, there was also a coffee machine. There was also a large, separate bathroom. It's an ideal option for a family with a child. The breakfasts are very good, with options for both children and adults. The only thing I didn't notice was an omelet station; there were fried eggs and scrambled eggs instead. But you won't go hungry; a delicious and hearty breakfast is guaranteed."

"Great value for a layover, but brace for the morning rush.
Pros:
· For the rate, the room is perfectly comfortable and the food is decent. The breakfast spread (seen in the pics) actually offers a good mix—Chinese food, plus coffee and juices. For a quick airport stop, it hits the spot.
· Convenient transport: If you skip the shuttle, ordering a taxi directly from the hotel to the airport is super easy and fast.
Cons to note:
· Elevator & shuttle crowds: The biggest inconvenience is the morning checkout rush. Everyone is heading to the airport at the same time, so the elevators get jammed, and the queue for the bus shuttle can be crowded.
It's absolutely fine for the price. Just leave your room 15–20 minutes earlier than you think you need to, or simply grab a taxi from the front door to avoid the shuttle chaos. Would stay again for an early flight."

"My stay at the丽呈酒店 (Rezen Hotel) in Shanghai Lujiazui truly exceeded my expectations, and I have to give it a big shout-out. I booked a special offer basic king room, and at check-in, the front desk directly upgraded me to a higher room type for free. There were no extra charges, and I didn't even have to ask – their service was perfectly balanced and made me feel incredibly comfortable.
The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's only about a hundred meters walk from Fangdian Road subway station, where you can take Line 9 and transfer to Line 2 directly to Lujiazui and Century Avenue. This makes it incredibly convenient for shopping, catching high-speed trains, or getting to the airport. The room's cleanliness was impeccable; the desk, bathroom corners, and bedding details were all spotless, making for a worry-free stay. The breakfast selection was rich, with a full range of meats, vegetables, pastries, and drinks, and the taste was good, satisfying daily dining needs.
I'll briefly mention two minor flaws: the shower water temperature was a bit low; even at maximum, it was still quite cool, which significantly affected the showering experience. Also, the self-service laundry room was quite busy, requiring a wait in line. Putting these two points aside, the value for money in this area is outstanding, and I will definitely prioritize staying here again when I come to Pudong in the future."

sljkMy partner and I had such a wonderful experience staying at Shanghai Puyan Bund Hotel during our first trip to China. From the moment we arrived, the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming and always happy to help with anything we needed.
We'd especially like to thank Shirley, who kindly organised a complimentary room upgrade to celebrate our five year anniversary. The suite was beyond anything we expected and made our stay feel even more special. It was such a thoughtful gesture that we'll always remember.
The location is fantastic. We were within easy walking distance of Nanjing Road, The Bund, nearby train stations and so many wonderful cafés, restaurants and local attractions. It made exploring Shanghai incredibly easy, whether we were walking through the city or taking the metro to other parts of town.
The views from the hotel were beautiful, and after long days exploring the city, it was such a lovely place to return to each evening. Everything felt comfortable, peaceful and well looked after.
Thank you to everyone at Shanghai Puyan Bund Hotel for making our first experience in China so memorable. We truly felt looked after throughout our stay, and we would absolutely choose to stay here again the next time we're in Shanghai. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, central hotel with exceptional hospitality.

Guest UserWe thoroughly enjoyed the stay! My daughter especially love the animals in the accommodation and we only wished we stayed longer! The service was top notch! They even helped me book a taxi to send my luggage to the next hotel instead of having me going back to hotel to arrange for it! I was out at another place quite far and it was too troublesome to get back to hotel to collect the luggage. They were the best!!! We felt very well taken care of and well rested! They also rent out a super luxurious stroller that totally make the Disney trip a breeze! My kid still needs her nap and it helped to age a nice trolley to nap in!

The room was spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows framed the magical Shanghai river view like a moving painting. Our dedicated concierges, Aaron and Brin, meticulously considered every detail for our family outing, providing practical suggestions for local attractions and responding to our requests efficiently and effectively. During our leisure time, sitting by the window, watching the boats slowly cross the river, we soaked in the unique vibrant atmosphere of the Bund. Having stayed at numerous top-tier five-star hotels both domestically and internationally, especially many in Shanghai, The Bellagio Shanghai is one of the very few that makes me want to return again and again. It's grand yet refined, with impeccable attention to detail. This stay was even better; Penny from guest services was beautiful and enthusiastic. She called and messaged me in advance to inquire about my check-in needs, and upon learning I was with a friend's family, she proactively arranged our rooms on the same floor and close to each other. She thoughtfully prepared fruit and toiletries for the children and even helped coordinate with their partner brand, Range Rover, for station drop-off, ensuring my friend's family and I had a perfect stay. The location is superb, convenient for both The Bund and North Bund, offering Suzhou Creek views, quiet yet central. Another highlight is the fantastic breakfast; The Bellagio's mini wontons are arguably the best in the country. This is a purely handwritten review, and I am extremely, extremely satisfied.

Guest UserThis hotel is 8-9 years old, and the facilities are quite poor. There's absolutely no street view. I initially went to the Marriott Renaissance by mistake, which is around the same price and also has similar operating hours, but it's in a much higher building. If you're not in one of the street-facing rooms at the Mercure, you're looking right at the back of a residential complex. 😢 The late-night snack was just noodles and wontons from that day! And the breakfast the next morning 😂😂😂 was even worse... I arrived at 9:20 AM and most of the food was gone, and they weren't restocking it promptly. I observed that by 9:45 AM, there was hardly anything good left. If you want breakfast, you better go early! I came here based on Ctrip reviews, but honestly, it was just mediocre. I don't know why it has so many good reviews! The Marriott Renaissance, for a similar price, offers city night views (not of the Oriental Pearl Tower, though) and an indoor pool, and it's closer to Yu Garden. The two hotels are only about a 10-minute walk apart! Anyway, if there's a next time, I'll definitely choose the Marriott Renaissance. 😂😂😂 Oh, and the hairdryer in the hotel 😂😂😂 had a bad connection; I had to hold it to make it work. I also don't know if it was just my imagination, but when I first entered the bathroom, there was a slight smell of urine... and my nose is particularly sensitive. To sum it up in one sentence... this room is not worth 1200! The service, however, was very good! No doubt about that.

The B&B is very comfortable. The decoration style seems simple but is very clean and tidy. I like the minimalist style very much. It has a mahjong table, a singing room, and a projector. It's a pity that I came late and didn't get to play. I'll try it next time. Two 1.5-meter large beds are put together so that children can roll around as much as they want~
The kitchen downstairs has a pot and an oven. The boss cooked corn for the children in the morning. He ate breakfast and looked at the rice fields outside the window. He was in a great mood. It only took 9 minutes to take a taxi to Haichang. It was very convenient and a very pleasant stay.

Guest UserMy experience at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The room was super clean and comfortable, which made my stay very pleasant. What really stood out was the staff's kindness; it truly touched me. When I was struggling to figure out how to order takeout, they patiently explained everything and even personally helped me with a drink purchase since I'm a foreigner and had difficulty with the payment. At checkout, they even gave me a hand cream as a gift, making my trip perfect right until the very end. Thanks to their warm hospitality and the immaculate room, I had a truly wonderful time. I will definitely be back!

DenghuoExtremely satisfied with my stay! The water, electricity, and internet were all very stable, and the front desk staff were all attentive. Although parking is typically charged, after a quick chat, they arranged complimentary ground parking for me, which made getting in and out seamless. This was especially helpful given how much luggage I had. The front desk staff were professional and attentive during check-in; they responded quickly, communicated patiently and thoroughly, clearly explained all the check-in benefits, and processed everything efficiently without any long waits.
The concierge team also left a strong impression. They greeted guests proactively when entering and leaving the hotel, helped with directions, assisted with luggage, and were always quick to respond to any requests. Their polite and considerate demeanor, along with their attention to detail, truly showcased their high service standards. The executive lounge experience was excellent as well. It was quiet and elegant with a comfortable atmosphere, and the food and drink selection was extensive. Both the afternoon tea and evening snacks were top-notch. It was perfect for a quick break, getting some work done, or simply relaxing. My time in the lounge was very enjoyable.
Overall, the guest rooms were clean and tidy, the hardware was well-maintained, and the comfort level was very high. From the customer service at the front desk and concierge to the amenities and experience in the lounge, you could feel the hotel management's dedication and thoughtfulness at every step. I highly recommend this hotel for both business travelers and families, and I will definitely choose it again for my next visit.
