First of all, the hotel accepts foreigners (as of May 2024). The location is very convenient - a short walk from Hohhot Station, as well as from the metro and bus stations. There are also many shops and restaurants nearby. The room was good, if not fancy. It had all the necessary amenities and was in good condition. You can also leave your bag for free before check in and after check out. Overall, a great budget option.

This hotel is very close to the railway station and the Mongolian border which made it quite convenient. The room was clean and comfortable and it was a pretty good deal for the price . Staff was friendly and hospitable

The lady at the front desk when I arrived patiently went through all the hard work of registering a foreigner at a hotel during this pandemic period. Much appreciated! The location was good, the room was well-priced (and even got an upgrade), it was warm, and it was nice and quiet except the first night when the music from the KTV was coming through the floor. Plenty of sunlight and in winter, the window sill makes a good fridge for beer and any perishables haha.

Convenient location for sightseeing, not too far from the main points of interest. The hotel is modern and my room was spacious and quiet, being high above the street below. I had difficulty accessing a wifi connection on arrival around midnight; this was quite stressful after a long journey. They should make it simpler, rather than trying to explain to a foreign guest that they have to log in to a code on their TV (after finding an English connection) - which resulted in them having to send someone to my room to sort it out. Other hotels don't make it so complicated. Anyway, after that initial annoyance I was satisfied with my stay. Special thanks to Jane at Reception who kindly helped to arrange a taxi for me when I checked out - she showed great patience.

We booked a triple room and room is big and spacious. More than enough space for 3 big luggage. Food is great and they even provide supper, the first time I have ever experienced. Pillows and bed are comfortable. Location is good for us as it is not far from Hohhot East railway station.

Seeing that Ctrip has good reviews for the swimming pool, I took my child to the swimming pool. After entering the water, I found that the water temperature was too cold. The child did not enter the water but sat by the pool and kicked the water. There was a lifeguard or staff member sitting behind the table playing with his mobile phone the whole time. The child stood up, slipped, and landed on the back of his head. She also rushed over. However, there was no emergency treatment for such incidents. I asked for ice cubes, and she said no, but later gave me a bottle of cold Coke. The front desk of the health club sent ice cubes to the contact restaurant, as shown in the picture. I asked the waiter for a fresh-keeping bag to pack the ice cubes, and the answer was that there was no fresh-keeping bag, and then a black garbage bag was given. The child has good physical fitness and it was not affected. The front desk also gave two breakfasts to show concern. There are two things in the hotel that I find quite interesting: 1. When the child left crying, the health club told me that they needed to take back the bath towels, and then went to the guest room to get them. 2. After we checked out, we received a call from the hotel saying they couldn't find a coffee spoon. I said it fell under the table. The attitude was generally good, but the service standard was low. The room rate is not low compared to first-tier cities.
