Seriously, you guys! I finally found my dream hotel in Chongqing! It's a high-rise cave hotel right by Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. This real-life cave sanctuary is just too romantic! ✨ The location is absolutely unbeatable!! 📍 It's in the heart of Yuzhong District, and Jiefangbei is right downstairs. You can walk to Hongyadong, Luohan Temple, and the Yangtze River Cableway. The metro station is also downstairs, so you don't have to go out of your way at all. If you get tired from sightseeing, you can just head back to the hotel and relax – a godsend for lazy travelers!! The best part is the room's view!! From the 24th-floor, floor-to-ceiling window, you can see the two rivers converging and the sprawling buildings of the misty mountain city during the day. At night, you can lie in bed or soak in the bathtub and directly watch the myriad lights of Hongyadong. Chongqing's 24-hour romance is all captured through one window. 🌆 I absolutely adore the huge scenic bathtub 🛀. Taking a hot bath at night with the glittering river view and neon lights outside – it's an immersive cyberpunk nightscape experience. Every photo you take looks like it's from a movie! The bedding is also super comfortable! The soft latex mattress feels like sinking into a cloud, incredibly stress-relieving 😌. The room is clean and tidy, with all the amenities. The service is attentive, and the value for money is just excellent! Seriously, if you're coming to Chongqing, you don't need to look for accommodation anywhere else. The location, aesthetics, view, and comfort are all top-notch. Staying here will double the happiness of your Chongqing trip!!

Best hotel in Chongqing! This is the best hotel in the entire Chongqing. We stayed on the 41st floor. The room had a huge bathtub right next to the panoramic window — it was almost the size of a swimming pool! Absolutely luxurious. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, assisting us with every question. If you’re hesitating about where to stay, don’t think twice — choose this place!

Choosing this high-rise river view hotel for my trip to Chongqing was an exceptionally satisfying experience. Perched on a high floor, the hotel boasts a fantastic overall ambiance with expansive, clear views from above. The room features panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, offering an unobstructed, first-rate river view. By day, you can gaze at the river and the charmingly staggered buildings of the mountain city, and by night, the two rivers sparkle with lights. Lying in bed, you can admire the stunning nightscape – the viewing experience is truly amazing. The guest room facilities are complete and well-maintained; the mattress is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom, TV, and soft furnishings are all in excellent condition. The cleanliness is particularly noteworthy; the room is meticulously cleaned, the bedding is neat and dry, and the bathroom is odor-free, with corners and crevices spotless. The staff are warm and courteous; check-in was efficient, and requests were promptly addressed with a gentle and thoughtful attitude. The entire experience was pleasant, making it suitable for both sightseeing and a relaxing short stay. Moreover, it's very close to nearby attractions; Hongyadong and Jiefangbei are both within walking distance. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Chongqing.

The hotel's location is excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, food street, Jiefangbei, and Kuixinglou. The room offers a fantastic view of Chongqing's river and the bustling cityscape, with towering buildings all around. It's a shame that Chongqing's nightlife is so vibrant that by the time I returned to the hotel each evening, the lights on both banks of the river were already off, so I didn't get to enjoy the night view from the hotel's perspective. The butler, Qi Qi, proactively contacted me before check-in and frequently asked about my needs, sent travel guides, and even gifted a souvenir. All in all, this hotel offers great value for money. You won't regret staying here. Highly recommended.

Banyan Tree is really close to the subway station, and it's also convenient to get a taxi to the scenic spots. The staff are very welcoming, and there's even complimentary tea and a lovely tea room on the third floor. The air conditioning in the guest rooms runs quietly, controls the temperature quickly and accurately, and the vents are clean with no dust accumulation. The temperature control equipment has been well-maintained over long-term use.

Although building seems old but front desk staff were v friendly and assisted us with our taobao purchases. Our 2 bedrooms suite were spacious and clean. But hangers were limited and only master bedroom has bath robes. Location is ideal, 5 mins walk to malls and 美食街 is open till late night. Recommended but need go front desk to collect *******.

This stay exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic – within walking distance to popular attractions like Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, and super convenient for finding places to eat. The room itself was clean and airy, with a lovely, refined decor. The floor-to-ceiling windows offered a breathtaking panoramic view, allowing me to enjoy Chongqing's stunning cityscape and river views without even leaving the room. The bathroom was well-designed with a wet/dry separation, and all the usual amenities were provided. There's also a lobby and a fitness area. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficient with check-in, and they were quick to respond to any requests. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend staying here!

The room was very clean, and the hygiene was exceptionally good. The facilities were also complete. I especially loved that the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area! That was really well done. There were no strange smells when I opened the door, and I had a very comfortable stay. It was quite soundproof too, so I slept really well. Stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Chongqing and overall had a good experience. The biggest positive is the location. The hotel is within walking distance of Jiefangbei and Hongyadong, with easy access to the metro, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The views around the area are fantastic, especially at night. Check-in was straightforward and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included and provided a good start to the day. The room was comfortable and generally met our expectations. However, on the morning of our tour, the sink pipe failed and leaked significantly, making the sink unusable when we were trying to get ready for an early departure. This was inconvenient as we could not properly use the sink for washing or brushing our teeth before leaving. To the hotel's credit, the issue was repaired while we were out later that day and did not affect the remainder of our stay. Overall, I would recommend this hotel for its excellent location and good value, but the maintenance issue prevents me from giving full marks.

SSusuWanderlustFinally, I got to check out the Arclight Hotel in Chongqing, which I've had on my must-stay list for ages. The moment I stepped into the room, I was genuinely wowed. The dark wood finishes paired with warm accent lighting gave it a sophisticated, private apartment vibe, far from the gaudy feel of traditional hotels. The entire space featured an open-plan layout, seamlessly connecting the bed area to the bathtub and vanity, making it feel incredibly spacious and airy. 📍About the Room: ✔️ Super-sized open-plan suite design. ✔️ A standalone circular bathtub takes center stage. ✔️ Floor-to-ceiling windows offer an amazing night view, creating a fantastic atmosphere. ✔️ Smart control system is convenient to operate. ✔️ The bedding is so soft you won't want to leave once you lie down. My favorite spot was the bathtub area. At night, turning off the main lights and just having the warm ambient lighting, soaking in a hot bath while gazing at Chongqing's nightscape outside the window, truly felt like a temporary escape from the city. It's also incredibly photogenic. Every corner – by the bed, the bathtub, the mirrored entryway, the floor-to-ceiling windows – felt like it was straight out of a magazine. 🧩Public Areas: Gym: Equipped with cardio machines, a smith machine, and a free-weight area. The dumbbell weights cover a good range, more than sufficient for maintaining your workout routine while traveling. Laundry Room: The hotel provides an independent self-service laundry area. There are plenty of washing machines and dryers, which is a big plus for business travelers and long-stay guests. Breakfast: A mix of Chinese and Western options, including hot dishes, baked goods, desserts, fruits, and beverages. They even thoughtfully prepared Chongqing noodles, which I found to be as good as, if not better than, what you'd find at some local eateries. Overall, the quality is above average for this price point. 🍃Stay Experience: The overall service was understated yet meticulous. From check-in to check-out, there was no excessive disturbance, making it perfect for couples on a romantic getaway, anniversaries, or solo travelers looking to unwind for a couple of days in Chongqing. They even thoughtfully provided afternoon tea. If you're tired of the same old chain five-star hotels, the Arclight's design-focused and private atmosphere will genuinely be a refreshing change. ✨Stay Summary: Design: 9.3/10 Comfort: 9.0/10 Service: 9.0/10 Breakfast: 8.9/10 Facilities: 9.2/10

HHelen-checheFacilities: Excellent Cleanliness: Spotless Environment: Superb Service: Outstanding, every staff member was polite and courteous. As someone who travels globally for business and frequently stays at InterContinental hotels, I recently returned from an InterContinental in Brazil, and honestly, there's no comparison – this Chongqing location is in a league of its own. The night view is absolutely stunning and incredibly relaxing, making it perfect for a travel stay. They provided a lovely welcome fruit platter and tea, and the fridge was well-stocked with drinks and snacks, including white wine! The hotel is conveniently located by the river, very close to popular attractions like Qianximen.

GGuest UserVery spacious room with good views! I could see a bit of the river with this room type. Within my expectations for the view. I usually don’t require a lot of service so I barely need to contact reception or use the WeChat for any help. The only down side I face is the lack of floor towel and small hand towel, plus I do not like to use solid hand soap. I mean I didn’t go ask for extra towels as it didn’t bother me that much.

GGuest UserThe environment and service at Xiannvshan National Forest Park Bayu Homestay are both top-notch. The guesthouse offers pick-up and drop-off services to and from the scenic area entrance. Upon arrival, you're greeted by a tranquil courtyard surrounded by lush mountains and clear waters. The fresh air carries a faint scent of flowers and earth. The guesthouse features a modern minimalist design, with wooden pavilions and intricately carved window frames; every detail showcases the unique charm of the local culture. In terms of service, the staff are warm and attentive, from the thoughtful check-in guidance to meticulously planning sightseeing routes for guests, reflecting their genuine care. Here, you can savor authentic Bayu cuisine and experience a home-like warmth. In the morning, as the first rays of sunlight hit your window, you can stroll through the forest and embrace nature's bounty. After nightfall, the guesthouse glows with warm lights, reflecting the starry sky, making you feel as if you're in a dreamland. Every moment at Xiannvshan National Forest Park Bayu Homestay is a wonderful encounter with nature and culture, leaving you lingering and looking forward to your next visit.

YYanglinqiThe front desk staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They proactively contacted me about my room type and even gave me a thoughtful upgrade. Member benefits were substantial, with welcome fruits and drinks all arranged. The room itself was compact but cleverly designed, with plenty of hooks for storage, making it easy to place luggage and clothes. Housekeeping was meticulous, leaving no corner untouched, and the mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm. The carpeted hallways provided excellent soundproofing. Although the pedestrian street downstairs was lively, the room was perfectly quiet once the door was closed. Bonus points for the details: high-speed WiFi, a mini-fridge, a walk-in shower, and a portable folding desk. The ability to open the room door and check in with just a tap on my phone made the whole self-service process very smooth and convenient.

GGuest UserI highly recommend the Le Méridien Chongqing, Nanchuan! It's located right in the Nanchuan Wanda business district, next to Line 3's Gongmao Station, making it super convenient to get to Jiefangbei and Hongyadong. Plus, there's a one-stop shop for food and shopping right downstairs. As expected from a Marriott property, the quality is top-notch. The lobby has high ceilings and a strong artistic vibe, and the spiral staircase is fantastic for photos. The rooms are spacious and bright with separate wet and dry areas, and the amenities are premium. The high-floor rooms offer expansive views and stunning nightscapes. Sara and Daisy provided incredibly thoughtful and attentive service – always smiling, enthusiastic, and quick to respond. The breakfast spread was excellent, a rich mix of Western and Chinese options, making for a perfect experience. It's ideal for both business trips and leisure travel. I was extremely satisfied with my stay!

AAnonymous UserExcellent service. Excellent location. Near the BRT (which we took only once). The service apartment is located in a block (that also had another hotel entrance), where the entrance to Fandiao is hidden from the main road. But aside from that, the building is noticeable and is the first tall building just before the viewing deck for the Qiansimen bridge and just before Hongyatong, as traffic flows (one way). My specific booking for this room was for a Saturday night - a one night extension - and we chose the Hongyatong view, as our original room was already booked. We could see the massive crowds from our window view out there at and around Hongyatong and on the Qiansimen Bridge on the May 1 weekend But the previous 4 nights, we were booked under my husband's name, and that room allowed us to see the drones show from the comfort of our large and beautiful room. That first room had a wall-to-wall window, that allowed us a view of the river, a block of apartments right in front of us, and some street views. There are pros and cons to different rooms. The drone show is on weekends. If you are not on weekends, the HongYa Tong view is nicer, but only my first room (which was much larger at 40 sq metres) had a long window seat which was lovely. I share a few photos, one with a view of Hongyatong (this booking, and from the other room, where we could see the drone show. Remember they are different rooms. But you could easily come downstairs and watch the drones from the little corner outside the lobby. There's still a crowd, but you could see the drones rising to the sky. The customer service was excellent, for some reason, we were first given paper disposable towels in our first room, and I rejected that for cloth towels which were then given to us. The reception is on the 19th floor, and all the service personnel were willing to please (communicate via WeChat, with translation). And always asked if there were things they could do. Some idiosyncrasies (from a Malaysian view). They have glasses in the room but no cups/mugs for making tea the conventional English way, but the customer service brought cups with handles when we asked for them. No tea or coffee sachets provided but there were bottles of water and soft drinks, which we didn't take. I think it may be the context where soft drinks (in th fridge) were deemed more suitable and glasses were provided more for soft drinks. I had brought some 3-in-1 coffee sachets all the way from home just in case, that seemed providential when we checked in. Corridors in front of the lifts on the floors are motion sensored, so we were at first surprised by the darkness when the lift opened, but we got used to it. You have to decide whether you support energy efficiency or not. 😂 All in, we had a memorable time in Chongqing, thanks also to Fandiao. I would go and stay again and recommend it. Just bear in mind that the road right in front of the hotel is closed to the traffic at night on weekends (and likely public holidays). Plenty of food nearby, and beautiful spots for photos. There's also a Lawson store across the bridge 100 metres away where we bought our sandwiches, buns, oden, and coffee, for snacks.

The hotel’s location is excellent; it’s right next to a subway station, and there are many attractions nearby, making it very convenient for sightseeing. There’s a 24-hour front desk where you can send WeChat messages if you need anything. The service is excellent. Although it’s been raining in Chongqing these past few days, the hotel provided free umbrellas that could be borrowed.
