"Nice to stay in the historic hotel. As such, the room showed it's age which is not necessarily bad. It had a charm and warmness not found in most modern hotel rooms. The full breakfast was definitely the highlight. It was not advertised as such on the booking site but should be. I was a bit disappointed that the internet was not password protected. I was reluctant to leave my computer on too long for fear of hacking."

"Location is great, very close to the harbour, however the noise from the road was quite loud. Mattresses were uncomfortable. There was trash in the waste bin when we arrived and the sink was not clean. The toilet is extremely low to the ground which we found uncomfortable to use. The doors close very loudly and you can hear doors closing in the hallway. Not the best stay, and would not stay there again."

"The hotel chain we stayed in is located in Dartmouth. It takes about 10 minutes to cross the bridge from downtown Haffa, but this 10-minute drive can be much cheaper. The hotel is surrounded by apartments and is also close to Superstore. The surrounding area is safe and not noisy. The hotel has a total of 4 floors, with a lobby on the 1st floor and guest rooms on the 2nd to 4th floors. The guest rooms on the 2nd floor of the building are marked as the 1st floor. My room is 2XX, so it is actually on the 3rd floor. The large glass windows have a good view. The basic facilities in the guest rooms are old but sufficient. Parking is free and you can park at the door of the hotel, which is very convenient to enter and exit. The family room we booked has 2 large beds, which is suitable. The whole family slept well for two nights. When checking out, the Indian manager at the front desk also said that the price you booked on this APP is much lower than our price. It is true that Ctrip's price is better. I also compared another local APP that settled in US dollars at the time. It is indeed Ctrip's price is more favorable (maybe I have accumulated more credits because I have used Ctrip more). In short, it is a relatively pleasant accommodation experience with high cost performance."

On the bright side, the hotel is very close to the beach, and the views there are fantastic."

GGuest UserGot a good checked in and request amenities service is good. Staying for 5 days with my whole family. On the third day our bathroom flooded I don’t know what happened. They transfer as to a queen bed and a couch. Just accepted it as I do t want to deal with the incident overnight. Fully understand if no rooms available to accommodate us. But they did attended to our needs so far. But pretty much over all stay it was a ok. The hotel seems old but maybe preserving the looks of the hotel. Needs some upgrading.

AAnonymous UserFacilities: Plenty of facilities, including a swimming pool and elevator; overall, it's a fairly standard Hilton hotel.
Environment: The environment is excellent. The hotel is comfortable and tidy. Towels aren't very dirty, except for the floor, which is a little dirty. The bedding doesn't show much dust and is quite neat. There are plenty of pillows, and even the TVs have your name on them with a welcome message. The soundproofing is excellent; you can barely hear people shouting outside. The rooms are very large and beautiful, as is the bathroom. It's also very close to the hotel.
Service: The service is superb. We arrived early with our luggage because I wanted to go to Halifax for a while longer, and the front desk helped us store our luggage and gave us some tickets. The staff at the front desk were very polite and helpful.
Cleanliness: Excellent.

GGuest UserI stayed at Chateau Bedford, Trademark Collection by Wyndham from April 19–20, 2025, for a family trip to Halifax. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we needed extra towels, toiletries, and coffee refills, which were initially insufficient in the room.
The hotel facilities were generally good, but the TV casting function did not work properly during our stay. Also, the breakfast could offer a bit more variety, and unfortunately, the hot cake machine was out of order, which was a disappointment for my kids.
That said, the service team was responsive, and we appreciated their support throughout our stay. With a few improvements, the experience could be even better.

KKB100I had a very good stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Truro. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel served a hot breakfast with pre-made omelets, sausages, potatoes, waffles, and bagels, plus a range of cold options. Free coffee and tea were available all day,l. I also used the gym, which had everything I needed for my workout. My only critique is that the breakfast setup was quite wasteful, with everything served in disposable containers and plastic cups. While they do offer recycling, it would be great to see composting added for unfinished food. Overall, I would definitely stay here again.

RRoaming DogHotel was situated on a huge property with plenty of free parking. Free parking at hotels is a rare commodity these days as every establishment is treating it as a cash grab. Hotel is roght beside a strip mall with a few shops and a pizza store. Besides this, nothing is within walking distance. When I arrived back to my room after a late dinner, I found a roaming cockroach in the washroom and I instantly sent it to it’s death. Hotel was quite comfortable front desk staff were courteous. I would recommend the hotel to friends for stay if they ever happen to be in the vicinity. Overall I would return to this hotel myself if I’m ever in town.
