The room was very clean. Compared to many hotels in Europe, I much prefer this style of decor. This is a Japanese-style hotel with natural wood tones, very simple yet cozy. Plus, the location is great, right next to the subway station.

Hygiene: The room was very clean.
Service: The service was also quite good. They even hand-wrote a welcome letter during check-in, which was a nice touch.
Environment: Convenient stores and restaurants are quite close by.
Facilities: The shower stall was a bit small, and there was no bottled water in the room, but overall it was fine.
Aside the environs outside the hotel which wasn’t neat, our stay at the hotel was so pleasant. Rooms were neat and just perfect. We enjoyed our stay. Proximity to eateries and tourist sites was a plus
The staff are all very friendly! The location is close to tourist spots such as manneken pis and Saint-Nicolas, only several minutes of walk.
However, the hangers provided in the room are almost damaged and the window could not be fully closed that it was cold to sleep on the right hand side. Although it is not a very big problem, I still expected the whole environment could have been even better.
There was little information regarding check-in procedures upon arrival. We tried calling the number provided but received no answer. We had to wait for someone to leave before we could enter, but we finally managed and were warmly welcomed.
The hallways smelled musty and of cigarettes, which gave a bad impression right from the start.
Once we arrived in our room, everything seemed fine at first glance, until we opened the bathroom door… A nauseating smell wafted out. The sink faucet had to be turned on at a certain flow rate, otherwise we would get sprayed, and the shower head was broken, and the water flow was extremely weak (making it impossible to wash our hair).

A friend recommended this place, and it's super convenient for all the tourist spots, plus it's surrounded by luxury boutiques. You can check in early, and then just head straight to the hotel, enter your name, and get your room card from the self-service machine. That's way ahead of many hotels in China and definitely deserves praise. Check-out was quick too. The elevator doors opened to a nice surprise, the room had fantastic views, and the facilities were clean and modern. Breakfast was also very satisfying. Highly recommend!

Pros:
1. **Convenient Location:** The hotel is right above various transportation hubs, including bus stops, tram stations, and a subway station.
2. **Close to Train Station:** The train station is large and very close; I walked there in 8 minutes, and the path was good, making it easy to pull my luggage.
3. **Modern Room Amenities:** The room has full electronic controls and air conditioning, so the hardware facilities are quite good.
4. **Modern Art Vibe:** I really liked the modern art atmosphere throughout the building. There were also many art books by world-renowned modern artists nearby, which I took some time to browse.
5. **Fresh Linens:** The bedding was relatively new, well-laundered, and neatly ironed.
6. **Excellent Breakfast:** The breakfast was fantastic! There was a chef making omelets to order, smoked salmon, and a variety of hot dishes every day.
7. **Shopping Nearby:** There's a large shopping mall and a commercial street just across the road.
Cons:
1. **Housekeeping Issue:** One day, I turned on the 'make up room' light and left. The housekeeping department didn't clean my room. When I returned in the evening and saw them outside the neighboring room, I asked them to clean mine as soon as possible, and I went to the lobby to wait. After an hour and forty minutes, I came back, and the room still hadn't been cleaned. This felt disrespectful to me. I spoke to the front desk, and after a few more tens of minutes, I inquired again, and the room was finally cleaned. This issue didn't happen again.
2. **Water Stains:** Some of the facilities had white limescale, which should be cleaned more thoroughly.
The hotel was under contruction and a pretty big one as well, there was a bug that flew out of no where that dropped from the ceiling onto the carpet, im sure the hotel will be great after its reconstruction but as a customer that paid full, theres no excuses for these bugs to be in the room . The gym was also closed as i chose this hotel cause they had the gym facility, but the gym was closed due to construction
Conveniently located near a metro station, making it easy to get around the city and the bathroom and room were quite clean. However, despite locking the door and hanging the “Do Not Disturb” sign, the cleaning staff entered our room early in the morning. And the toilet flushing system was bit unreliable, sometimes not working properly.

TTuzidainiqulvxingIt was alright, pretty standard. It's quite close to the station, and the supermarket behind the hotel has incredibly cheap prices, which was a pleasant surprise! As for the hotel itself, well, it's missing a lot of basic amenities. No slippers, no toothbrush or comb, no kettle, no cups. I can somewhat understand not having a toothbrush, comb, or kettle, since it's Europe after all, but no slippers or cups? That's just unacceptable. Check-in involves doing it online first, then picking up your room key from the front desk. And a 10 AM check-out time is just unreasonable. They say it's new in 2025, but it feels more like a renovation.
GGuest UserI prefered this hotel as it is close to the EU institutions. However, there are better hotels on other parts of the city. In booking, I didn't select the breakfast as I confused. When I arrived the hotel, they told me to include breakfast for 29$ per day, which was expensive. When booking, I read that there would be drinking water as complementary but there was only empty bottles and it should be filled in from a machine next to the elevators. Lastly, the room was noisy because windows are not noise dampening. The furniture was also outdated.
SSheryn ChowWe departed from London to Belgium via Eurostar. It was about 20 minutes walking distance from Eurostar Station to Bedford Hotel. Further, lot of eateries restaurants and cafe, carrefour and Grand Place all within walking distance of 10 minutes. We joined 2 day tours to Ghent & Brugge and Luxembourg. The meeting point is about 18 minutes walks. Overall the hotel is very convenient and staff are very welcome and friendly. Will stay again should we have come to Belgium again as this hotel was higher recommended by my daughter who stayed here with friends before. We stayed here for 4 nights before departing to Amsterdam.
AAnonymous UserThe staff were incredibly friendly, from the restaurant to housekeeping and the front desk.
The room was a bit small, but for Europe, I'd say it was quite spacious. The decor was rainforest-themed – a design that really depends on individual taste.
We had a twin room, and the two beds were easily pushed apart. The small stone table next to the bed, where the phone was placed, was a bit wobbly and could easily be knocked over, so be careful not to drop it on your foot.
The bathroom was semi-separated (wet and dry areas), as the shower only had a half-glass partition, meaning water would splash out. Remember to lay the bath mat on the floor to avoid slipping. I loved the illuminated, extendable magnifying mirror – perfect for when I put in my contact lenses.
Cleanliness was excellent. The bath towels were good quality, and the tissues and toilet paper were thick (finally, not those flimsy single-ply ones, if you know what I mean!).
The shampoo left my hair feeling very dry, and the conditioner was just average. However, the shower gel and body lotion smelled fantastic! You can buy them in the lobby for 38 or 28 euros, I think.
There's a water dispenser by the elevator where you can fill the glass bottles from your room with ice water. The bottles are small, so I asked for an extra one, which was just enough for two people.
The sandwiches downstairs were pretty good.
The hotel is super conveniently located, just a few steps from the Rogier metro station, making it easy to get anywhere. However, do be aware of loiterers in the area.
For me, the only downside to this hotel was that if the bathroom door was left open, the room would get a sewer smell.

RRobert Chang168This hotel is conveniently located near Brussels' South Station, but it's not far from the hotel either, about 500-600 meters away. The airport bus stops right next to it every day. There are many shops nearby, and a Carrefour is even inside the station – very convenient indeed. Overall, I had a very good experience with this hotel.
AAndrea SamuelsThis hotel was on point, I loved the size of the room, the size of the bed, & the en suite was clean and everything was modern. I would definitely recommend it and would definitely stay here again..
I did feel there needs to be clearer instructions on how to turn up the heating and warm the room up.....
Other than that it was well worth the money.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and spacious. The location is excellent, as the hotel is directly opposite the train station, and most sightseeing spots are within a 10–20 minute walk. We traveled to Brussels mainly for the Christmas markets, which were spread across different areas of the city, and we were able to reach all of them on foot. Although the breakfast was not particularly impressive, it was still convenient and nice to have it included in the stay.
