Really quiet location as it is right on the golf course.
Great views over the ocean if you fancy a walk.
Rooms have been newly refurbished with natural tones, soft lighting at headboard, comfortable bed with an array of pillows.
Central light panel controls all room lighting - have a play!
Really good desk space for work options, with desk light for ample lighting and power right there whilst working. No stretching of cords or having to share with the kettle.
TV with great reception live TV.
Spacious bathroom with toilet, large shower, large mirror and vanity space, 2 power points and sink. Reasonable water pressure and good temperature but could not tell which was hot or cold. Trial and error
Breakfast included is good and tasty, basic with eggs, bacon, baked beans, hash browns and fried rice, selection of different toast and banana bread, coffee, tea, juices. Could probably do with some fresh fruit as well as an offering.
Nice bush outlook at breakfast and plenty of seating.
I had a corner room so my view was not the best - disappointing!
The pool is beautiful and the spa is warm, even in the middle of August.
I would come back but better view next time as the hotel was not full midweek.
I would highly recommend a stay!
We stayed there one night as we have booked the hot air balloon flight. Thus, didnt have much opportunity to use any facility except the restaurant. We had dinner there and food and wine were great. However, we noticed that some staff werent paying much attention to asian guests. While serving the food up to western guest, the staff was introducing the food in details but not to us. Furthermore, it took a long while to get our desserts.

đ The Ibis Melbourne Central Hotel's location is absolutely perfect! It's super convenient for transport, being so close to the central station and all the major attractions. The hotel facilities are new, the room is spacious and bright, and the bedding is comfortable. The front desk staff are very enthusiastic and promptly helped solve any issues. Plus, the breakfast is great!
We had a pleasant stay at Apollo Bay Motel. The location was convenient and the overall experience was comfortable.
- Cleanliness of the 2-rooms with comfortable bed and sharing one toilet.
- Friendly staff and easy check-in with spacious carpark lot
- Location near beach/shops/food & Ice-cream
The room location was fantastic, with a small courtyard outside and a road leading directly to the sea. The front desk staff were very patient and lovely during check-in, and they even provided slippers (which most Australian hotels don't).
I have 2 issues one is the check in and check out time 10 am check out is too early if check in is after 2pm . I wanted to purchase breakfast add on but was told not possible at food checkout even though they had terminal, had to go to reception to do , however reception said they could do at breakfast bar which I just came from !Â
Second at reception I informed them that my room would not be vacant rd until breakfast was consumed at 10.30 , no problems but upon returning to room it had been serviced at some of my belongings removed!! What the !!Â
At 10.25am my ro
The place is relatively quiet. The room is very clean and tidy. Highly recommended for staying
The parking space is also very spacious. There are also warm lights in the bathroom. You won't feel cold when taking a shower in the winter. Highly recommended.
Stayed for 1 night in Autum. It was a little pricey for my budget. The location was good, it was across the road from the beach but would need a car or bike to the main shopping area & restaurants on the esplanade.
The 2-bedroom apartment was nice & spacious with a full kitchen, fridge, microwave & laundry facilities. Ensuite & main bathroom. Our room had a large balcony however our view was not great but didnt spoil the stay. The only issues where the couches are old & not very comfy. The resort facilities were nice with a large outdoor pool that was warm for a non-heated pool, outdoor large spa that was always busy. Spent most of the time in the heated indoor lap pool. There was a games room, tennis court, gym & bbq area. The staff were also obliging in letting us use the facilities before check in was ready. The only issue was Winkipops breakfast cafe, service was not professional, the food was average with lack of presentation, they ran out of some of the ingredients of the meal order & instead of consulting me they just added other ingredients that was not wanted & the price did not reflect the meal or service thus I would not recommend eating there. Overall, highly recommend the resort.

From the moment we entered we were greated by friendly helpful staff. Room was perfect lovely hot shower. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was beautiful. Nice and hot and very prompt with the delivery. I would happily stay again and l would certainly recommend to anyone. Nice and quiet. Bed and especially the pillow were excellent. Best night's sleep away from home for ages.
We arrived late but we managed to pick up the keys. Thank you so much.
The toilet in the room is very cold during the June period. The heater in the room doesn't cover that space. The water could also be a little warmer during winter. We had turned the tap to the max and found the water lukewarm.

Awesome apartment stay at Arrow on Spencer. Warmly welcome by the friendly and helpful front desk officer. The apartment was spacious comfort with well-equipped amenities. Located in the cbd (free tram zone) next to Southern cross station, perfect location for eateries and groceries. Luggages can be stored before check in time.

We are a family of 5 adult and 1 infant, and we booked 2 rooms separately. We primarily chose this hotel because of the good location next to the domestic terminal and a not-so-expensive price point (compared to Parkroyal which was directly opposite the hotel). The rooms were decently-sized, nothing too luxurious as it catered mainly to travellers transferring in the airport. The hotel had a massive gym, which was surprisingly given that it was mostly empty but they had all kinds of equipment catering to all body parts. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was OK. Not the best food, but at least it filled out stomachs with the standard spread of Western food - fruits, bread, eggs and bacons etc. All in all, would recommend this hotel if you are transitioning at Melbourne for a night and looking for an affordable yet not too shabby place to sleep!

Perfect stay for a simple trip. Stayed at the single bed room. The room is small but just enough for my short stay. Room was clean & it has everything you expected for a budget hotel: Tea/coffee, milk on the fridge and toileteries. Wifi speed is good for browsing (Approx 40-50Mbps) The only downside is: Their hotel key is using old technology and easily demagnetised. I happen to put it next to my Airpods and it loses the magnetism.

The location is perfect. Lots of eateries and shops around. Great view. Room was clean and staff were amazing. Two of the window latches and the ice cube tray were broken. Otherwise it was great. By the way, I am still waiting for the pre-authorised deposit back. Read some reviews that can be difficult or take long to get that back, hopefully it will not be this case as I really wanna book this hotel again.
Friendly receptionists with a cozy lobby area. Guest rooms are large with sufficient cutlery and furnishings. The washroom is a bit small and should be refreshed more thoroughly.

The location was great, right in the town of Chinatown. However, reception closes at 8pm. Hence not much security around the hotel at night. Room was big and spacious.

Location: Can be tricky to find the first time as you need to turn onto Cyril Street. Look across the road for the white building with red writing. Check-in: easy and fast. The man on reception is friendly and organised, just a lovely receptionist. There is a bond of $200; be organised and youâll save your time and the receptionistâs time. You can pay the bond in cash. Parking: great, BUT there are some permanents living there and so you might want to park away from them⌠you will see immediately where you should not park :) clean parking area. Seemed organised. Room: very clean, comfortable. There are no knives, forks or plates, but there is a kettle and a microwave. Teas coffees, etc. six milk pods, so maybe bring milk if you need more. Really make sure that you close the door properly or it will seem shut, but not actually be shut and will open :) Good curtains in the room that block out the light from outside. I noticed a fair amount of security cameras outside on the walkway, which was reassuring. Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed is firm, but I liked it. Would or wouldnât stay again? Unfortunately, no, not while they are acting as âcrisis accommodationâ. The staff and room were great, but there are some undesirables living there who kept us awake all night. Not exaggerating when I say, did not sleep AT ALL. We were up and down to check on the car - the permanents were screaming, fighting - some real Jerry Springer stuff. I was upstairs and the people next to me had a dog that barked all night, in addition to the couple screaming at each other :/ Downstairs, fighting, screaming constantly. it sounded like something got broken downstairs. A guy on a motorbike kept coming and going, visiting the permanents downstairs and talking super loudly, then more yelling and fighting after he tore off on his bike. I didnât feel safe; I expected the car to get damaged. I realise those peopleâs behaviour is not the motelâs fault, but I was so tired the next day that I got a migraine and yeah, still fending it off now, day after. Not impressed with those feral permanents. Itâs a shame because the staff and rooms are great
