Location was within 20 minutes walking to the old town and just 2 minutes on feet to the Grazer Messe (Fair of Graz) facilities. Breakfast was of broad selection and good quality, Tobias satisfied all our wishes in the restaurant. All other staff members (receptionist and cleaning staff) were polite and very helpful. Though the hotel is on a road with tram traffic, noise isolation worked pretty well and we had silent nights. We could easily find parking on the other side of the road, which was luckily free during the weekend. I would definitely return to this hotel if visited Graz next time again.
Although it is Austria's second largest city, this place is relatively small. The main activity is in the old town, which is the location of the hotel we stayed in. It is very convenient to walk in 3 minutes! The room is OK in Europe. Breakfast is a general continental breakfast, the style is not a lot but very delicate, especially their coffee is particularly fragrant, it is not made with a general coffee machine, each cup is made with a large coffee mechanism, very good!
Stayed at this hotel for a europa league football fixture.Good location for the ground a 20min walk or regular trams a 2min walk away that also take you into the city centre.
Room was very comfortable, tea & coffee making facilities, free safe and wonderful bed.Would highly recommended this hotel.đ
Spacious room but we expected more from the breakfast offering.
The only hot item was boiled eggs and they wouldn't even offer omelettes or scrambled eggs.
The location is perfect. Close to Altstadt and other sightseeing spots. Lots of good restaurants nearby. The staff are nice and helpful. Just that cleanliness can be a bit better. And you have to order room service one day before, otherwise room service will not come.
The hostel is in an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from the main train station, making it ideal for an overnight stay if you are travelling early in the morning or looking for accommodation close to the station.
It offers many useful services that provide everything you might need. There are two vending machines in the hostel â one with snacks and drinks, and another with various hygiene products such as toiletries and earplugs. The hostel also has a bar where you can enjoy a drink, as well as a coffee machine and hot beverages available at affordable prices. The hostel also offers meals.
Breakfast is available for âŹ10â11 and is fairly basic, including several types of cold cuts, cheese, eggs, cereals and muesli, yoghurt, pancakes, jams, hot drinks, coffee, and juices.
Very clean and well-maintainedâboth the hotel and the room! Just a heads-up: thereâs no aircon, only a fan. It was cool enough for me, but my friend felt it was a bit warm since we visited during summer. The hotel might look a little dated in photos, but in person itâs airy, and doesnât have any musty smell at all.
The location is excellentâjust a short walk to the Old Town, with plenty of eateries right next to the hotel. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. For the price I paid, Iâd say itâs definitely worth itâespecially with free breakfast included!
I love the old school key system but itâs super heavy.
The hotel is just across the street from the train station. It has good air conditioning, plenty of electricity, a large bathroom with a bathtub, and provides tea bags, coffee, and milk. The room is bright and has a great view. It's a 15-minute walk straight to the city center, with many shops, small supermarkets, and restaurants along the way, but they close quite early.
Lovely hotel in a historic setting. Pity thereâs no slippers provided. We spent over half hour trying to find the parking lot only to find the itâs just located by driving into the K&O shopping centre next to the hotel. Beats the heck out of following the hotel issued map.

GGuest UserMy stay at the Wiesler Hotel went beyond my expectations. I booked the tiny room because I am not fussy about having a big room. When I entered the room I was disappointed because the bed was above ground level and that it's a no no for lumbago sufferers, such as I. The size was actually quite decent, certainly no 'tiny' at all, and so was the bathroom but the bed put me off. I walked down to the reception desk, and I asked for an upgrade. I told the senior gentleman at the desk (could he be the general manager or even the owner?) that I did no like the bed without footboard. He was most understanding and he issued 2 keys for me to check and to choose from the Comfort bedroom and the Grand bedroom. I chose the former -the bed had a proper footboard, legs and headboard. He offered me to stay at the Grand for the same price of the Comfort, I was very pleased by the kind offer but I said that I was happy to go for the Comfort. As he insisted I accepted the Grand bedroom, which has the size of a one-bed apartment.
The location is spot on: it's right in the city centre with views to the river Mur in front. I had the buffet breakfast in my last day too and I highly recommend it if you enjoy a good quality and varied breakfast.
I've tried the local red wine too at the bar in the lounge, which was excellent and at a surprising low price- after all this is Austria!
The decoration of the rooms aren't the typical you find in a 4 stars hotel with history and the curious eye has seen in the lobby's beautiful colour lithographs that the hotel has changed its style a few times over the last century. But it won't put me off to stay back tat the Weisler next time I am in Graz.
11391248****The hotel's environment completely exceeded my expectations. The surroundings were as tranquil and beautiful as a fairyland. I've already recommended it to friends for their vacations. The breakfast was also excellent, plentiful, and delicious. It's suitable for a relaxing stay of three days or more; my two-night stay was too short! Personally, I think it's even more suitable for a relaxing vacation than Hallstatt. There are far fewer people, and the tranquil lake view is perfect. It's my favorite hotel during this European trip, and it's my top choice for all my travels over the years!
TTerence9372The room we got, is at the other building, but it is connected. It is under renovation, thus a bit dusty along the corridor. If you are driving, it is easy to get to Hallstatt and Dachstein mountain.

GGuest UserAfter a long trip you come to the hotel and just want to check in without problems. Unfortunately, this was not the case. A staff member told me hard that breakfast was not included in the price and does not even try to explain why. Simply, despite evidence, he said differently... Fortunately, the next day, another employee was and explained to me how and what is. Then the matter was quickly resolved.
Frokost costs âŹ12.90, and there are no hot dishes (e.g. sauce, eggs, etc.). Only bread, sauce and sweets... cooked eggs were cold! ... so better elsewhere breakfast than in the hotel...
GGuest UserNice hotel and great value for money. Ibis's interlocking hotels are great and very standardized in all aspects. The disadvantage is that it is a bit far from the train station, but relatively close to the old town.
GGuest Userwalkable from Graz train station still very quiet rooms with modern room and bathroom facilities. we stayed in winter and the heating was good but  can not comment on AC. beds were comfortable. breakfast varieties were plenty and overall taste was good. staff was helpful. the city centre was within walking range and tram lines in the city centre were free.
