Was a good stay. The room was a bit to warm for me when I got checked in, but was able to lower the room temperature. Good clean room with a nice firm bed. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Being next to McDonalds and the Breeze In are also very good options

In a town with very little options this one is a solid choice for a night or two. We stayed one night in a quick trip to Seward in March. It is just outside of the ”town” making it quite but still close to things to do. Check in a do it yourself kind of deal. You are given a code to the room and then asked to text when you arrive. They did respond quickly to our text and we had no issues. The parking lot was plowed of snow so that was helpful. Room 3 is a big room but has VERY limited places to put things. There is no closet, no dresser etc...so everything ends up sitting on the futon. The tiny desk doesn't leave much room if you have a computer. While it looked nice it wasn't the best planned hotel room. Heating the room was done with a space heater that took a while to warm up the room, and the floors were bitter cold despite the warm air. The towels in our room were dingy and stained ( past their prime) so we just hoped they were clean. I could recommend this for a one or two night stay but if you were spending a week here ...I'd choose a AirBNB.

Great place by the airport. For people on transit it is hard to beat. It gets the job done if that’s all you need. But if you’re looking for someplace to stay more than one night, other venues may be better suited.
Merrill Field Inn

The room is quite large, the two beds are 1.5 meters, enough for 4 people to sleep, we specially booked a small kitchen, because there is an aunt with us, do not like eating outside, but this small kitchen actually does not have pots and pans, so unless you have a pot yourself, Otherwise, you can't cook, because we went to Utah for the second half of the trip and brought pots and pans, so it can be used. This hotel is better than airport transfer, so we can drop off the bus at the hotel, so we will call back by ourselves after the drop off. But day 2 could do their bus again to the airport.

Great location: walking distance from cruise terminal, harbour for fjords boat tours, and the railway, as well as a shuttle stop. Our room wasn't inside the main building and the window looked onto the walkway to get to that section of rooms - so if you had the curtains open, people walking past looked in. Also, it was a bit annoying not to have the sink in the bathroom, and I would have liked more than just a rail for clothes - we could hang our wet jackets, but that was it. As with many places we stayed on this trip, the bed had a blanket and a sheet rather than a duvet, and the curtains weren't blackout. Overall, staff were lovely, we could store our luggage and heating worked a treat. Would stay again for the location. Better than I expected from the internet pictures.

Great little motel. Quiet, scenic. Gas station across street, closes kind of early. Fridge, coffee maker, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, hair dryer. Older but has been updated. Very clean. Office guy very nice! No vending available, but he has containers of ice in the lobby. Good location, 20 minutes from Anchorage, 5 minutes to see Belugas, close to Girdwood, Wildlife Conservation Refuge, on the way to Seward.
