The room is spacious and comfortable, and the parking is very convenient to park directly in front of your bedroom. The service is very good, my mobile phone has fallen to the restaurant and I have not found it. The waiter at the hotel rushed to the ship we were about to leave and returned the phone to me.
As a whole, this small Property hotel was very clean and the roooms looked as if they were recently painted. Our particular room on the 2 floor had a great view of the harbor and made for a terrific view of the sunrise. All in all this hotel was one of our best that we have stayed in through our travels of New Zealand. The only catch to me was we are a family of 4. Our children are 5 years of age. It was highly interesting to me that with our room having a King Bed and Two single beds, I was charged for “an extra person” supposedly because the rooms occupancy is 3. I am guessing that with three beds and only an occupancy of three, that they are requiring the parents to sleep by themselves in different beds. Not really sure what’s going on with that. Would recommend, Only if you are a family of 3!
This is a great stay in a perfect location with great views and beaches and walks nearby. Highly recommend this. A very comfy place where they make you feel some where special. Restaurants nearby, the handbook of the hotel is also wonderful. Absolutely loved and would definitely come back. Thanks so much.
Interesting 3 bedroom apartment, building is made of central hexagon shape with the sunken living room in the middle. Only problem is the 7th person has to sleep in a portable collapsable spring bed so not comfortable. Overall we enjoyed our stay and host promptly came to our rescue when we couldn't figure out how to power on the heater.
The room is on the second floor and the decoration is a bit old. The bathing pool is next to the bed. I thought it was a hot spring, but it is actually tap water. You have to go to a nearby hot spring center to soak in the hot spring. There are many accommodations nearby. If I had known that the room did not have a hot spring, I would not have booked this price. Room. Value for money is too low.

We Travelled with our 96yr old Mother & we were given a very roomy unit with a disability shower & chair which was really appreciated.
The beds were comfortable with beautiful crisp white sheets.
There was everything that you could have wanted & will definitely be making it our go to Motel as we travel to Tauranga often to visit family.
This is a really well equipped room and we were very happy with our stay. The room is large and well lit. Comfy big beds and the air-con works well as it gets very warm in the room with the afternoon sun streaming in. We enjoyed the very vocal welcoming cat in reception too! The location is very close to everything you need during your stay.
Would love to have a sealed bottle of milk rather than the pre filled bottle, and there were toenail clippings all over the carpet by my side of the bed and the light bulbs were coated in dust; these were small issues but didn’t detract from what is a great place to stay. A little attention to detail and this place is close to 10/10.
This is a really nice motel that is in a great location, close to the beach and a scenic hiking spot. There are also several great restaurants nearby (albeit quite pricey).
The place was unexpectedly nice. Room was clean and there were some nice touches - a wee bottle of full cream milk with a nice creamy top, a bottle of water chilling in the fridge. Check in was effortless. The shower was a little weak but overall I'm really glad I stayed here. New world supermarket across the road and a world class steak restaurant around the corner

GGuest UserBeautiful clean tidy room. Service was excellent. Very efficient and friendly. The room was quiet and peaceful and had everything we could ever need. Loved that there was a spa bath in the room. The way everything was laid out and the excellent quality linen made it feel nice and luxury. The owners and staff have put a lot of time into makung the room and Motor Inn grounds look special and relaxing. It would be nice if the room had a bit more natural lighting eg one or two more skylights but there was plenty of good artificial lighting so the amount of light in the room was not a problem. Thank You For a Beautiful stay. This will be our number 1 choice whenever we come to Tauranga.

DDadihefanThis Motel should be run by Chinese people. The Chinese girl serving at the front desk is very nice. The room is large and the kitchen utensils are all available. It was convenient for us to drive 3 minutes to the supermarket to buy groceries. It was very close to every scenic spot. We stayed for two nights and felt like we were at home. It is highly recommended.
GGuest UserThe so-called breakfast was too poor. It only consisted of two slices of bread, two cans of yogurt, a 200ml box of milk, and a few jams. They were placed in the room on the day of check-in. The key is that the yogurt and milk were not placed in the refrigerator. The so-called motel hot springs are just two tiled pools from the 1970s in China.
CCHENXUThe geographical location is unique, the room is big, there is a kitchen, and it is enthusiastic, and the milk is delivered every day. The two elderly people check whether the room is closed every day to see if it is safe. There is a kitchen for cooking. Satisfaction
LLagasLocation was good, little noisy at night but not to much. Myself and my partner had the family room with the spa. Spa was amazing. Enjoyed late night swims. Very clean and warm
GGuest UserNice place. Love the spa facility in the bathroom . Spacious and easy access to the town and place of interest.
Enjoyed the trip with my family

AAnonymous UserBooked a 1 night stay for my family. Communication was great. The room size of the wheelchair accessible room was good. While the bathroom was a good size, the wall fixed seating in the shower was not that great. The seat is at about a 15 to 20 degree angle facing downward, so while showering one has to hold tight so as to not slide downward towards the floor.
