A very good experience. I went there at 11:30 noon. The boss also opened the room for me. The room was also very clean. More importantly, speaking Chinese was very kind. I had a lot of things that I didn’t understand and told me very carefully. I

The price to quality ratio seems right at this hotel. It's no frills, but it's clean, the bed was comfortable, check in/check out was easy, the wifi is strong, and the area is relatively safe. The one major downside that I noticed is that the walls are very thin, and the couple next door was arguing until past midnight - and not that loudly; they wren't shouting, they were just arguing, and I could hear pretty much every word. So bring earplugs.

Clean and comfortable basic Motel with great staff,free parking,free wifi,a/c, fridge & microwave,flat screen tv. Missing:No washcloths,hand towels,bath mats or shampoo. No outlet in bathroom & no hairdryer. No closet,no place to hang clothed,no drawers,no lamps. (Just 1 over head fluorescent bulb). No coffee maker& ice costs 50cents a bucket. Would stay again for Rose Bowl functions as it's a nice walk (little over a mile),and staff makes sure you know the way. Would definately stay again and just bring things they don't have that we need.

I spent night in this Motel on August 4th 2022. I’m cargo van driver and just have been driving through to the East Cost. The motel was ok like usual old 2 star motel, but A/C hadn’t been produced enough cold and room was smelling cigarettes in spite of the fact that all motels rooms are smoked-free. But it was late and I decided to stay. After 2 weeks I recognised that deposit didn’t return to my card. I contacted Motel and asked to figure it out. Women on the phone sad that everything is OK and deposit doesn’t go back automatically and I need to call again next morning to ask manager to make a return. I called back in about a week and had reached manager/owner. He already knew my name and was ready to talk to me. He sad that I left room with tons of trash and food “like you spent there 2 weeks not 1 night” and “there was cigarette smell and butts everywhere” and all the towels were used. To say that I was disappointed is not to say anything. I’m 100% smoke free person and I hate anybody smoking even under my windows. I spent in room about 9 hours working on laptop and sleeping between two working days (it’s all you need when drive 10 days from cost to cost). I didn’t have anybody with me (i just don’t know any person there) and I left early morning for loads in LA area. I left key in night window because there was nobody in the office and door was locked. Nobody contacted me about my room or deposit. I asked manager why nobody tried to contact me at the moment when the inspected the room - but he sad they don’t usually contact about deposits. I asked for some proofs cuz they trying to charge me $100 and I want to know what is is for but he sad I need to request deposit back at check out after inspection. I don’t know what I can do in situation like that. He is just lies and trying to steal my deposit. Be aware!

The furnishings in the room are old but still very clean. The quilt core is very thin, almost non-existent, and it feels like it has been used for a long time and has not been changed. When checking in, the front desk tricked us into upgrading the room type, adding dozens of dollars and saying that it would provide a room with a good view. As a result, we were assigned to the most remote room, a building where no one lives at all, surrounded by decorated railings and we could not see anything. Later, we went back and asked them to change back to the original room. They made up all kinds of excuses saying that the view of the room we originally booked was very bad and we could only see the roof. They asked us to pay more than ten dollars to change the room. After changing the room, we could only see the roof and a little bit of the garden. . . The car was parked in Valet parking for one night, and the tire was flat on the second night. Nothing to say... The garden is still beautiful, but it was a really disgusting check-in experience

The people at the hotel are very sweet and accommodating but they need to do better when cleaning hotel rooms…the sink smelled like sewer water. I thought it’s just one night but every time we turned it on it was a strong odor. I felt gross even washing my hands, let alone brushing my teeth. The drain should be cleaned at hotels. The vents were full of dirt. I had my baby and it just disappointed me more than anything..it felt dirty. It was too late to switch or do anything. Please do better for the health of others.

A naval ship type experience. Smallest hotel room I’ve been in since NYC. Reinforced staying on the right side of the law lest you end up in a place this small. The shower glass was a part of the actual room. We love historic hotels but I’ll pass on this one. The great downtown location you’d expect for a historic hotel, but not even a dresser in the room itself. No room! Nowhere to even put one piece of luggage in the closet! Only plastic cups in the room, no room to put a toothbrush on the bath vanity, no floor length mirror (we were attending an event), and the room lighting was poor. We are only here for two days, and we were claustrophobic the first hour. Even the hallway felt like being on a ship. Truly considered upgrading or changing hotels. Nice ambiance and charm downstairs. Parking situation was decent but expensive (as expected), $29 for self park. I think it might be a nice place for an event, but truly go get a hotel room built for modern size humans. Hotel staff gave little help with taxi service which I found baffling.
