Staying at this hotel for the second time is very comfortable. The back door is a large shopping center. The hotel is fully equipped. It is determined that the breakfast variety is less. The laundry room has eaten the money I bought the Tide washing powder twice. The machine can't spit out the Tide.

Room could have been a bit cleaner (there was hair on the floor of the shower, and the floor had some sort of residue that stuck to bare feet - bring socks/slippers!), but that's my only complaint, and it's not a big deal. Easy check in and check out, comfy bed, and a hot breakfast (bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, toast). The food was cheap hotel faire, but that's what I would expect at this price point. It filled us up, and we didn't have to go spend more money at IHOP down the road. Win/win! Would stay again. :)

The hotel was very clean and neat starting with the outside and continuing inside and into my room. The staff, all of the staff were friendly and helpful and the front desk receptionist was amazing. The complimentary food at the breakfast was the best I have had at a smaller hotel. Only small downside, the water in the indoor pool was to cold to swim in.

Worst IHG experience ever! Check-in was on Aug 4th & our checkout is planned on the 10th. It started with the very bad smell in the room (I will mention its number after we checkout). Then we had 2 cockroaches, alive, playing around. We informed the reception & they were so indifferent. The housekeeping promised to clean the room, however, we found the cockroach exactly where we left it. The telephone in the room was not working so we couldn't even leave the kids early in the morning to enjoy some coffee. Finally today, after 3 consecutive days, they fixed the phone. On our way back tonight, we had lot of bags in the car so I asked for the trolley. Their answer was: it is in use. I asked if they had another one or if they could check whether it was free now. They replied back: it is still in use, you can go up check it yourself! Can you imagine such a reply?! In fact, I went up myself, found it in the hallway & brought it down. This is the first time I regret being a Platinum member with IHG. I am seriously thinking to cancel my upcoming trips as I cannot tolerate another service like this. Robert at the reception & another tall employee were not helpful at all & very rude. This hotel should be avoided at any cost. Regards, Johnny
Courtyard Houston Katy Mills

I have stayed at this Courtyard Marriott many times, as it is located not far from my parents’ senior apartment. I am also a frequent business traveler, and I have noted that the cleanliness and quality of the service are consistently excellent; the hotel ranks well relative to properties I visit around the country. In the last few weeks, however, Henry from the Katy team has gone above and beyond to help me as I have made reservations for visiting family members coming to visit my mother, who is on hospice. His kindness means so much to our family at this difficult time.
Hyatt Place Houston Katy

The room is very large and comfortable, and it is very convenient to eat around many restaurants. It is very general for breakfast, and the waiter does not notify in advance and whether someone is taking the meal or not, it is like grabbing all the meals, especially rude and especially bad.
