Best Western Alamosa Inn

If you need a lower level room, make sure that you are not booked in the loft style king suite. We did not know that requesting a first floor room would require walking up a flight of stairs to get some sleep. This is an older motel and they have done well updating. With the exception of the king loft that suggests a theme of 80s swinger party. The double queens are quite nices, clean and comfortable. The rates were good, it rooms were clean enough although it could use an occasional deep dust of the window treatments and tops of headboards. I know I sound picky but when you have respiratory issues, it makes a difference. Customer Service was great though!

* I felt being treated differently compared to other guests. The hotel staff greeted other guests with fast check-in, professionalism, and warm welcome. I had to ask. Nor they welcomed me to their hotel like they welcome others to this hotel. * The telephone’s instruction sheet felt off, needs to be attached. That makes the phone looks old, dirty, and gross., but it works. * Weak water stream in bathroom room faucet, nor you can adjust the strength. * No office chair in the room, they explained it doesn’t come for a double bedroom and they said there isn’t any. And asked me to go downstairs to business center to use it or the restaurant. Saying having office chair is to prevent fire hazard which doesn't seem to make sense. * There isn’t any desk lamp or lights in front of the bed near the window, where the table is located, which felt too dark. * The main street next to the hotel is noisy at night, throughout the night, traffic and vehicles are noisy are very loud. * Noises from machines running and outside noises started at 5am. * The service quality was inconsistent, sometimes good, sometimes average. The room was clean, breakfast was fine. I will not recommend this hotel because all these reasons above. There is a Hampton Inn next door, further away from the main street, and there are also other hotels nearby which can possibly provide a better experience.

Was in town for business and would gladly choose to stay again. From the time of check in to having breakfast on my way out, I really felt comfortable and relaxed.

We stayed here on 7/29/24 in room 209. The lobby and outside areas look nice. There is plenty of free parking. Our check in and out were well done. The hotel is about 45 to 50 minutes from Great Sand Dunes NP. There are plenty of restaurants within a 5 to 10 min. drive. The room was good sized, mostly quiet, clean and the beds were comfortable. The internet was fine. The pillows are full sized, there was a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom was good sized and had good counter space.Water pressure was good. The downsides to the room were: no luggage rack. There is a bench which holds one suitcase but no where but the floor to put a second the tub/shower floor was very slippery, it needs a bathmat Breakfast was OK, typical of a Fairfeild but most of the hot items were out when we got there at 7:10am. The area was clean We would stay here again.

If you want a clean, comfortable and fairly-priced stay in Alamosa, this is your spot. Well-run hotel with no extras but it was just what we needed. Breakfast is included, and it was the best ”hotel breakfast” of a 2-week trip: your room stay entitles you to a limited number of selections at the restaurant next-door to the hotel. Impressed to see a full bank of security cameras in the lobby, which made me comfortable leaving my motorcycle.
