Wimbledon Questions!
Everyone talks about what to wear, but I want to know what else makes the day perfect. I'm talking about the stuff that isn't in the official guide. What's your #1 pro-tip that isn't on this list? The best spot for Pimm's? The quickest way to the Tube after a match?
Game, set and match! Welcome to the Wimbledon experience
Wimbledon, London, England
Game, set and match!
It’s one of my favourite times of the year - the Wimbledon Championships! So many of my childhood memories are wrapped up in Wimbledon. From watching Pete Sampras seemingly win every Wimbledon going in the late ‘90’s, to watching the Williams sisters breakthrough and dominate the sport in every way. Then there was the heartbreak. The heartbreak of watching Tim Henman come so close yet fall so close to the final hurdle so many times.
I was thrilled when I finally got the opportunity to go to Wimbledon in 2016 and 2017. I was even more delighted when I got to see the Williams sisters play in the doubles semi-finals! It was a last minute decision for them to play in the doubles tournament, but it was one that paid off. They won the final that year, the last time they have done so together in a Grand Slam.
A year later I got to see Radwanska, Raonic and Dimitrov play over on Court number 2. This time, being on the third row, it was special to be so close to the court, reading the game from that angle and seeing the players formulate their game plans and execute it.
The atmosphere at Wimbledon is second to none. It’s a special occasion and the times that I’ve been are memories that I’ll never forget. So, who’s going to win this year? We’ll have to wait and see!

Nature, Legacy, and the Spirit of Champions ⭐️🙏
“Nature, history, and sports—three worlds beautifully collide in these snapshots. 🌿✨ The first image captures a peaceful moment with crows dancing in the sky, overlooking a breathtaking landscape of autumn hues and rolling hills. It’s a reminder to pause and appreciate the beauty around us. The second image takes us inside the legendary Centre Court, where the pristine grass court awaits greatness under the open sky. The sunlight pouring in adds an air of anticipation, ready for champions to make history. Finally, the ivy-covered facade of Centre Court steals the show with its vibrant red and green foliage wrapping around the building like a living masterpiece. The statue of a tennis legend stands proudly, surrounded by lush greenery, celebrating the timeless spirit of sportsmanship. These scenes are more than just pictures—they’re moments that inspire connection, passion, and awe. 🏆🍂 #londontraveltip #wimbledon #pembrokecastle #travel #historicallandmarks #deliciousfood #nature

A Day at
A Day at Wimbledon: Tennis, History, and Legends! 🎾
Today, I had the incredible opportunity to tour Wimbledon Tennis Club and explore its rich history inside the Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Museum. Walking through the same grounds where tennis legends have made history was truly a surreal experience! 🙌
This photo is taken right outside Centre Court, one of the most iconic venues in sports, with its ivy-covered walls adding to the atmosphere. The inside is just as impressive – standing in the stands gave me chills, imagining the roaring crowd and intense matches that have taken place here. 🏆
The tour took me through the courts, behind the scenes, and to the museum, where I learned fascinating stories about Wimbledon’s history. I saw trophies, old racquets, and even outfits worn by some of the greatest players. The interactive exhibits really brought the sport’s heritage to life!
If you’re a tennis fan, a visit to Wimbledon is a must! Whether you're into the sport or just love history, it's an unforgettable experience.

Wimbledon Museum 🇬🇧
#londontrip
The Wimbledon Museum, nestled within the iconic All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, is a treasure trove for tennis enthusiasts like me. Stepping inside, I was immersed in the rich history and traditions of the world's most prestigious tennis tournament.
The museum's collection of memorabilia, including vintage tennis attire, rackets used by legends, and championship trophies, is awe-inspiring. The interactive displays and informative exhibits provide a comprehensive understanding of the tournament's evolution.
The highlight was standing on Centre Court, feeling the echoes of legendary matches and imagining the roar of the crowd during a Wimbledon final.
What sets this museum apart is its location, within the hallowed grounds of the Wimbledon Championships. It's a place where tennis history comes alive.
The Wimbledon Museum is a must-visit for tennis fans and anyone interested in the sport's heritage. It's a unique opportunity to get closer to the magic of Wimbledon and its storied past. #museum
Wimbledon Common - London
Wimbledon Common is a big open area located in South West London, it’s territory extending over 460 hectares. Many people mistakenly think that Wimbledon Common has something to do with Wimbledon Tennis Tournament. It’s not like that!
In the middle of this park you can’t hear the noise of the cars, but you can hear planes about to land at Heathrow.
You can do a lot at Wimbledon Common: walking, running, cycling, horse riding and golfing. It features multiple ponds and lakes, a windmill, a nature reserve and a diverse range of flora and fauna. There are also various cafes and restaurants around.
