[Yamaai no Yado Kiyasuya] The open-air baths in the rooms are impressive, and even though all the rooms are detached and there are only a few rooms, there are plenty of large open-air baths and outdoor baths that can be reserved for private use♨️ It's a wonderful hot spring inn✨ I'm sure it would cost twice as much in Yufuin🤔 However, there is only one bath towel and one small towel. You have to carry them around with you, so you have to take good care of them. Dinner includes Bungo beef and yamame salmon roe, and is beautifully presented, full of local flavors✨ Breakfast in the private dining area features a wide selection of steamed vegetables and sweet bean buns. I was surprised by the chawanmushi with layers of mountain yam, egg yolk, and dashi😋 The saltiness of the yamame trout was just right, and you can drink as much fruit wine and medicinal wine as you like⭐️ I thought it would be a guesthouse-style because it was called a so, but it was a proper inn with a toilet, sink, and refrigerator in the room✨ There are steep stairs in places, so it seems like it will help invigorate your legs and hips that are lacking in exercise. Iwanyu Sujiyu, Kokonoe-machi, Kusu-gun Iwanyu♨️ is one of the Sujiyu hot springs in Kokonoe. It is an open-air bath located a little further back. It is a very simple changing room and does not feel like a washing area, so you can relax in the hot spring. The fee is 400 yen, and you can pay in cash or purchase a special token. When I went, I was able to use it exclusively! You can spend a relaxing time surrounded by nature. The Yakushiyu has a strong cypress scent, and the baths are switched between men and women on a daily basis. If you are interested, please check it out.
