A place where you can see the Hanok Village at a glance
It is a historic site located in Gyodong, Wansan-gu, Jeonju-si, Jeonju Special Self-Governing Province, and was designated as a Jeonbuk Special Self-Governing Province monument on September 24, 1974. Omokdae is where Lee Seong-gye, the commander of the three provinces, held a banquet to celebrate his victory on his way back from suppressing Japanese pirates in Hwangsan in 1380, and is now widely known as a place where you can see the view of the Hanok Village.
It is located not too high, so you can climb it without much difficulty and take in the beautiful view of the Hanok Village at a glance.
