(Due to some accidents on the day of check-in, the homestay provided us with a free experience of making small table lamps with movable type printing in the museum, the finished product is in the last picture), in addition, various folk art works are displayed in the museum. About Accommodation The room type we stayed in was 'Distant Mountains Like Dye', which is a duplex loft type. The room layout needs to be improved. There is no TV in the living room, but there is a TV in the bedroom. For us who like to chat in the living room, it is very uncomfortable without the sound of the TV! The room hygiene is also not up to standard. The homestay has not been open for long, and I hope it will improve and get better and better! I found this azure sea that 99% of Wenzhou locals wouldn't believe exists! Some say it's all about filters, so take a look at these unfiltered photos! Wenzhou has many beautiful landscapes—flower viewing depends on the season, sunrise and sea of clouds require luck, and seeing the sea also needs strategy! - 1⃣ Season 🏝 The best months for sea viewing are May, June, July, August, and September. I highly recommend May because the sea breeze is incredibly pleasant, the sunlight isn't too harsh, the shores are covered in unnamed wildflowers, and there's a high chance of encountering bioluminescent plankton (blue tears)! 2⃣ Weather 🌤 Check the weather forecast in advance—sunny days are ideal. Cloudy days might bring rain or overcast skies. I've been to Weihai and Pingtan Island on cloudy days, and no filter could salvage the view. 3⃣ Location 📍 Beiji Island, a remote island in Wenzhou, takes 2 hours and 40 minutes by ferry from Rui'an Port Passenger Terminal (tickets cost 130 yuan). A 2-day trip is recommended to catch both sunset and sunrise. The island has a commercial street, homestays, and shops (PS: I thought the island was sparsely populated, but it's actually quite well-equipped and lively). 4⃣ Island Transport 🚢 Getting around relies on sightseeing buses—5 yuan per ride to attractions, all of which are free with no entrance fees. The island isn't overly commercialized, and prices for shops, restaurants, and homestays are similar to the mainland, making it more affordable than Nanji Island. 5⃣ Blue Tears 🔵 It was my first time seeing bioluminescent plankton, and I had no experience. At first, I used a light to search (the shore was pitch black, so I walked with my camera light on) and couldn't see anything at all!!!! Later!!! I learned that blue tears are only visible in complete darkness. They also move with the wind and waves, creating a truly magical sight.

Drive 1 hour from Wenzhou city to Tingquan Homestay in Rui'an. Although the mountain road has many turns, the scenery that greets you after getting off the bus is amazing. The breath of nature comes to you, and it is full of natural oxygen bars. The homestay is mainly white buildings, with an infinity pool + water slide, swings, trampolines, karaoke rooms, chess and card rooms, tea around the stove, bonfire party... The indoor facilities include Xiao Ai, a fully intelligent voice control system, a bathtub, a Dyson hair dryer... Dinner is a farmhouse dish carefully prepared by the homestay. It tastes so good that I eat a lot more than usual. Come for a weekend "urban getaway." The swimming pool and gym are free to use. I unexpectedly had the whole place to myself at 8pm, with super high ceilings. I bought a multiple-entry pass for the pool, which works out to less than CNY 50 per visit. It's quiet here and not crowded, making it a great place to swim. After all, the five-star lobby implements a "one guest at a time" policy. There are three reception desks, and I have to say that the young ladies are both warm and beautiful. The overall decoration style of the hotel is Chinese-style, simple and elegant, with a sky garden and sunken courtyard, perfect for taking photos. The most noteworthy thing is the breakfast buffet, the variety of which beats all other hotels in Rui'an. I came to Ruian to visit a friend, and they booked this hotel for me. There is a green space in front of the hotel. You can exercise as soon as you walk out of the hotel in the morning. The sun is shining and the air is fresh around 7am, which is especially comfortable. The hotel room is quite large, fully equipped, and the cleanliness is good. The only drawback is that there are no screens on the windows. I live on the 21st floor. I opened the windows to get some fresh air in the morning, but when I went to bed at night, I found mosquitoes. It's unbelievable that mosquitoes can fly so high. The hotel service is good and very professional. Super clean, soft bedding, and most importantly - no bugs! Mom-approved safety! 🏡 The guesthouse looks like a fairy tale castle Pure white house nestled in the lush mountainside ⛰️ Huge lawn perfect for camping and picnics! Tea by the fire pit under blue skies and white clouds - absolutely perfect! Every corner is Instagram-worthy 📸 👧🏻 A paradise where parents can relax Indoor children's play area + outdoor slides and pool + trampoline and swings ✨ The housekeeper even prepared kites and bubble machines!
