Phraya Palazzo Hotel
#Bangkok Hotel When my sister came from far away and wanted to try staying at Phraya Palazzo Hotel in Bang Yi Khan area, but she didn't dare to sleep alone, we had the opportunity to stay there. Phraya Palazzo Boutique Hotel is renovated from Bang Yi Khan House, built during the reign of King Rama V. The building is in colonial style architecture. The interior design is full of love and warmth. Room 125 is on the ground floor in the left wing of the hotel. When you open the door, you will find a writing desk. The left wing of the room is the bed area. The bed is very soft. The air conditioner is very cool. The right wing is the bathroom. The wet and dry areas are separated. When you check in, you will get a welcome drink, which is herbal water. When you try it, you will feel the taste of chrysanthemum tea mixed with lemongrass water. The hotel area is very quiet. The swimming pool is next to the Chao Phraya River. The trees are used as a natural fence that matches the oldness of the building.
To stay at Phraya Palazzo, the hotel recommends taking a boat at Tha Phra Athit for those coming by public transport. For those who drive, you can park at Wat Ratcha Thiwat and call the boat to pick you up. Because of curiosity, I went to explore the route behind the hotel. You can walk in from Bang Yi Khan Police Station and Wat Daw Dueng Saram. But this route is not recommended by the officer because it has to pass through the community, in front of the houses of the villagers, the alley is very small, and the road before reaching the hotel is quite narrow. My sister and I chose to take a ferry at Tha Phra Athit Pier.
Breakfast here will be a buffet and the main course is a menu for us to choose. The shrimp congee is very delicious. The restaurant is also beautiful. You can come here to eat dinner, but you have to book in advance.
One night here, I got to experience the luxury and the oldness of the building that was perfectly adapted to the overall atmosphere. It was a good reward for myself. #TravelThailand #TravelBangkok #AccommodationBangkok
