Old Red Museum of Dallas County History & Cul
great place to learn about the history of Dallas and how it came to be. It also highlights local town heroes who have contributed to the past while building the future of the DFW metroplex.
The building is beautiful and well maintained. There are Texas design flourishes that made me smile: the grand staircase has iron steps with a Lone Star design. The exhibit itself is well laid out taking you from one era to another and there are some interesting artifacts on display.
It was pretty cool to see all the interactive things they had. The items that they have collected are really neat. All kinds of stuff. Would recommend anyone that wants to learn more about where they live at to go.
