Golestan Palace.
Golestan Palace is located in the old city center of Tehran, the capital of Iran. From the Qajar dynasty to the Pahlavi dynasty, Golestan Palace was always the residence of the Iranian royal family. The palace combines magnificent palaces, tranquil pools, and beautiful gardens, which are the three essential elements of Iranian palaces. Both the exterior and interior of Golestan Palace are extremely luxurious, with the exterior walls decorated with colorful glazed tile mosaics, the interior decorated with sparkling mirror inlays, and exquisite plaster carvings, all of which are impressive.

🇮🇷Golestan Palace, Tehran, Iran.
Name: Golestan Palace
(Persian: Kākh-e Golestān)
Affiliation: Safavid Dynasty of Persian Civilization & Kaj Kavus Dynasty
Location: Tehran District 12 Panzdah-e-Khordad St Fifth Khordad Avenue Arg Sqr،
Period: 1865-
Founded in the Safavid era, the Golestan Palace, also known as the Rose Palace, is located in the center of Tehran, meaning "a place where flowers bloom" in Persian. It is now the National Archaeological Museum of Tehran and the oldest building in the city. After Agha Mohamd Khan Qajar, the king of the Gogjali dynasty in the 18th century, chose Tehran as the capital, it became the place where the king lived. In the 20th century, during the Pahlavi dynasty, two important coronation ceremonies (in 1925 and 1941) were held here.
As a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Golestan Palace is considered the essence of Iranian architecture, with Persian patterns covering the surfaces of the buildings, which are composed of multiple palaces. The rectangular fountain is symmetrically distributed on both sides of the building. The front of the Takht-e Marmar jade bed fountain is where the king was crowned - the throne of King Kaj. It is composed of 65 high-end jade stones from Yazd Province, and the coronation ceremony of the last king of Iran, King Pahlavi, was completed here.
Business hours are from 08:00 to 16:30 every day, and the venue will be cleared afterwards. The entrance fee is 150,000 Iranian rials per person, and an additional 100,000 rials is charged for each palace building (it is recommended to only visit the first three, which costs 350,000 rials in total).
