A resort paradise in Palawan, with the most beautiful one island, one hotel.
Surprise! The Philippines also has one island, one hotel, in El Nido, Palawan! It can be said that the best sea, the best beach, and the best one island, one hotel in the Philippines are all in Palawan.
The Philippines is worthy of being called the country of a thousand islands, with El Nido alone having 45 small islands, most of which are undeveloped and uninhabited.
Then, El Nido Resorts selected four of these small islands and built them into five-star one island, one hotel resorts, all of which are all-inclusive overwater villas.
However, since we have already stayed at the best overwater villas in Southeast Asia, Kapalai in Semporna, although these four are also very good and not cheap, they are indeed slightly less beautiful than Kapalai.
Just as I was hesitating, I found another more niche one island, one hotel, Cauayan Resort. It is a small island bought by a Spaniard, who then developed a resort hotel on the island, which instantly became much more stylish!
🚢 How to get there: Take the hotel's yacht from the exclusive pier in town, and arrive at Cauayan Island in 20 minutes.
🌟 Highlights:
🌴 Since it is one island, one hotel, there are no other tourists except for guests and staff. Access to and from the island is by yacht, which maximizes the preservation of the surrounding sea in its original state. There is no noisy traffic or bustling crowds, making it very quiet and perfect for a relaxing vacation.
🏠 All rooms are standalone villas, ensuring good privacy and no disturbance. The thatched roofs blend perfectly with the original and pure atmosphere of the surrounding area, and the interior design is human-centered.
🌊 The unique advantage of being surrounded by the sea on three sides gives the resort a stunning and open sea view, with every photo looking like a painting. You can step onto the soft sandy beach as soon as you leave the room, which is also the most natural experience that Cauayan Island Resort advocates.
I was worried that the room was so close to the sea that the sound of the waves would affect me at night, but it didn't at all. The soundproofing of the house is very good!
