Come visit and #celebratewithtrip @ Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines!
These ancient pre-colonial Spanish-inspired Philippine streets will surely make you feel retro and clique at the same time. Feel the history of the Philippines' North while roaming around Calle Crisologo.
Each local person in the area has stories behind each nook and cranny "esquinitas" . While some say every day is a lively day here at Vigan as tourists consider, these long-standing streets and urban houses have conquered many historical moments, including natural phenomenons like earthquakes, yet remain resilient. #spooktaculartrip
Note that there are also hotels and resorts you can consider to stop by when you're here. These streets are lively both by day and by night.
Surely an awesome trip to consider in the Philippines! #tripblazers

Calle Crisologo
Vigan is one of the few Spanish colonial towns left in the Philippines whose old structures have mostly remained intact, and one of it is the Calle Crisologo, which is very famous tourist attraction in the Western Coast of the large Luzon island. You cant resist to drop by here to take photo, and since this area is the busiest in the city, better drop here during road trip early in the morning, or late in the evening (or blue hour) to capture the beauty of it.
Things to do:
1, shopping along the road, there are lot of things to buy, souvenirs, delicacies especially their famous Bagnet(fried pork) and Empanada(looks like dumplings?😅)
2. Eating restaurants around the area especially when you just have a long drive from Manila, (it took us 6-8 hours drive going here),
3. Taking rest hotels nearby the area and appreciate old buildings structurals(really cool🤩).
4. Of course taking selfie😍 and post it to Trip😊

From the towering giants of the Bangui Windmills, harnessing the power of the wind to create a sustainable future, to the awe-inspiring churches that stand as timeless testaments to faith and architectural beauty, and finally, strolling along the cobblestone streets of Vigan's Calle Crisologo, where the past whispers its stories through every weathered brick and quaint window. GET LOST AND FOUND AT CALLE CRISOLOGO
Go back in time! Calle Crisologo is not just any ordinary cobblestone street! It’s history, heritage and culture.
Though only 500 meters long, Calle Crisologo in Vigan, Ilocos Sur province, is one of the most beautiful streets in the Philippines. It boasts a dense concentration of centuries-old stone houses, lovely tungsten lamps, and antique cobblestone, where horse-drawn carriages or calesas still to this day are used for transport. In fact, the street is a pedestrian-only zone, save for calesas favored for touring the historic sites around town.
A few of the ancestral houses have become restaurants that serve Ilocos bagnet (deep fried pork belly) or empanadas. Some are now inns and souvenir shops for traditional inabel linen. Many handsomely crafted wooden benches are positioned throughout Calle Crisologo for visitors.#tripblazers #urbanexplorer #mytripvlog #bucketlistreboot #ilocostravel #spanishera #unescoworldheritage

Charming Vigan
It took us a long drive of about 9 hours from Manila to Vigan due to Friday night traffic, but I might say it’s still worth it.
Vigan is such a beautiful city with an old-world charm. The historic city is listed as a UNESCO world heritage site as it has one of the best preserved planned Spanish colonial town in Asia.
Head over to Calle Crisologo for an old world feel with its cobblestone streets, rustic structures and horse drawn carriages or the kalesa.
Plaza Salcedo also offers a fountain show and there were many attractions around especially if you want to immerse yourself in history 😊🍂
