This bridge is a fascinating bridge that crosses the Drava River in Maribor, with a length of 270 meters. This bridge was built in 1913 and was opened to traffic on 23 August of the same year. Attraction: Maribor Castle Address: Grajska ulica 2, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia Direction: 12 minutes walk from Central Bus station Opening hours : 10am to 6pm ( closed on Sundays and Mondays) One of the most remarkable architectonic monuments of Maribor, it was been built by Emperor Friderik III between the years 1478 and 1483 for the purpose of fortifying the north eastern part of the town wall. There is now a museum inside the castle which exhibits the cultural past of the city. There is also a souvenir shop and a cafe there. Hotel: B&B Hotel Maribor Address: Ulica Vita Kraigherja 3, 2000 Maribor, Slovenia Direction: 7 minutes walk from bus/train station This hotel is very high value, it is in best location of Maribor, near post office, restaurants and most attractions. The rooms were clean and tidy. There were enough sockets for charging. Staff could speak English. WiFi was also very fast. Rooms are €50 for single room and €60 for double rooms.
