Hida Hotel Plaza 🏨Hida Hotel Plaza Takayama Old Street Hot Spring ♨️Hotel‼ ️ Hida Beef Kaiseki Cuisine
When I go to Nagoya, I often visit Takayama and other places at once
Usually go to these places will choose a hot spring ♨️ guesthouse 👍🏻
I chose Hida Hotel Plaza🫶🏻
Because we are not self-driving, we must choose a hotel near the station🏨
And it only takes about 5 minutes to arrive 😍 so it is very convenient for us
It's very close to Takayama Station. Just get off and go straight to the left. After seeing the Takayama City Hall sign, turn right and you'll be there😆 Even if you have luggage🧳, you're not afraid
As soon as you enter you feel the hotel🏨 has history but its hall is very spacious!! ️ But he only allows people to rest the place is not check in
There is a craftsman's dragon platform next to the check in hall 👍🏻
It is said that it is a kind of divine sedan in Japan 🗾😍 placed here is to provide travelers to take pictures📸️ souvenir👏🏻
After check in, an employee will take us to the room with our luggage 🫶🏻
It has a total of three buildings so it is really quite big and there is a small shopping street in the hotel😌 Inside it specializes in local products😍 We do not have to go around to find😆
Although there are only two shops but the operation cut️ is until 10pm 👍🏻👍🏻
Much more convenient than the shopping street that may close at 8pm in rural places!! ️
I felt good cleanliness when I got to the room😌 However, if you expect it to be Japanese like other hot springs♨️ then you may be disappointed😞
It is Japanese style so the same bed is not tatami 🥹
But overall I am very satisfied
I ordered a double bed room although it is not King Size double bed ❤️ However it is already very ok the point is that his bed is soft and soft 🤞🏻🤞🏻 very good
There are already 2 yukata provided in the room 🤞🏻 and very nicely gave the Chinese version of the instructions 😆😆
Snacks such as wagashi umeboshi and black pepper tea available in the hotel 🏨 shopping street are provided on the table!! ️ These are provided for free 🆓
Of course you can go buy it if you like it ❤️❤️
The bathroom here is normal but very clean 😆 but there is still a bathtub 🛁 and a toilet 🚽 but the hotel expects you to go to the hot spring ♨️ and will not be there to take a shower 😄
There is a large bath in the hotel's East Building B1 and Hito Building 9th floor😌
Because the weather in Japan🇯🇵 is relatively dry, so we should not soak too much at one time😅 Even if you want to try 2, you have to separate the time
Japanese 🇯🇵 hot springs ♨️ hotels are generally one stay and two meals
Dinner we make a reservation Senkaiseki cuisine 🥹 Here you can eat great Hida beef 😆 and each dish is very exquisite 😍
The shop also provides a menu 😄 so everyone can know what they are eating
As for breakfast, we chose Japanese food ❤️ The dishes are quite good 👍🏻 and Japanese and Western styles are available 🫶🏻 to suit different people's tastes
If you come to play in the mountains I really recommend you to stay here
Because it is conveniently located and charges reasonable 😍

Hida City: A Poetic Retreat in the Mountains
Hidden in the mountains of central Honshu, Japan, is a picturesque town called Hida City. Like a hermit, it is full of ancient charm and exudes a unique Japanese style.
Hida City is known for its architecture, with gassho-style villages scattered throughout. The rustic wooden houses with thatched roofs are nestled in the valleys. In spring, the mountains are covered with flowers; in autumn, the leaves are red like fire; in winter, the snow falls heavily, turning the houses into a snow village, attracting countless photographers to capture the beautiful moments.
Folk culture is thriving here, and the ancient Hida Festival is bustling with activity. Locals dress up in their best clothes and carry a gorgeous palanquin through the streets. The exciting rhythm of the taiko drums and the dancers' bold movements show their sincere protection of tradition, making the audience feel as if they have traveled back to old Japan.
The food in Hida City is also mouth-watering. Hida beef is known as the "treasure of meat." The black-haired wagyu beef raised on natural pastures is firm and tender. Whether it's sukiyaki or steak, the delicate, smooth, and fragrant taste will instantly conquer any gourmet. Come to Hida City and experience the beauty of Japanese life in the mountains, folk customs, and food.

The Snow of Hida Takayama!!
The snowy old streets and the world heritage site 'Shirakawa-go' with its thatched-roof houses covered in white are iconic winter scenes of Hida. Although summer is bustling with tourists, the best season to fully enjoy the beauty of Hida is actually from now on!
Shirakawa-go, with its thatched-roof houses registered as a world heritage site, is a popular tourist spot. In winter, when the thatched-roof houses are covered in snow, you can feel the grandeur of nature even more. There are plenty of highlights, such as strolling through the 'Mitsugo no Gassho-zukuri' and 'Myosenji' temple, which was also featured in the year-end TV program 'Yuku Toshi Kuru Toshi,' and exploring the interiors of the thatched-roof houses.
Hida Folk Village is an open-air museum that recreates the old lifestyle of Hida by relocating old buildings from various parts of Hida to the hilly area in the western part of Takayama city. Opened in 1971, over 40 years have passed since its opening, and the relocated buildings blend so well with the landscape that it feels as if they have been there from the beginning, spreading the traditional rural scenery of Japan.
Hida Furukawa
The Setogawa and Shirakabe Dozo Street, located in the center of Hida City, is a picturesque spot where history and nature beautifully harmonize. The street is lined with white-walled storehouses, and the clear waters of the Setogawa River flow through it. From April to November, you can see koi swimming gracefully, bringing a sense of peace to visitors. You can enjoy the seasonal beauty with fresh greenery in spring, koi in summer, autumn leaves, and snowy landscapes in winter.
It's the perfect place for those who want to spend a quiet and relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of tourist spots.

Hidafurukawa, a cute little town
#tripแจกโรงแรมฟรี
A small, lovely town not far from Takayama. Fans of Your Name must know this town because this town is a location in the story.
When I went, there weren't many tourists, no cars on the roads, very quiet. You can rent a bicycle to ride around the town, but we didn't rent one because we didn't have enough bicycles, so we just walked around. The air was cool and refreshing. The town was clean and beautiful, with lots of trees. It took about 1-2 hours to walk around. There was also Wi-Fi in the town and the bathrooms were clean.
Another place where you often see pictures of this town is the canals around the town with koi swimming in them. However, when I went in the morning, it was raining, so the water wasn't clear and I didn't see any fish in the canals (but I could find fish in the ponds in the town).
In the town, there are souvenir shops selling souvenirs from Your Name for fans to buy and take home.
Overall, this town is another one that I really like. You can walk around and take pictures at a leisurely pace. If you have half a day, you can easily visit. Most importantly, when you arrive, don't forget to check the return bus schedule to Takayama so you can plan your travel time according to the return bus schedule.

A ryokan that you shouldn't miss if you come to Hida City
#Japanese style accommodation #Japanese accommodation review
"I want to stay at a ryokan once if I get to go to Japan." If you have the same idea as Mama B, I hope this post will answer your questions.
A ryokan is a small hotel. The highlight is the tatami mat room, shared bath, and yukata for guests to wear.
Today, Mama B will review a ryokan called Ryokan Yatsusankan.
Address: Furukawa Mukaimachi 1-8-27, Hida, Takayama, Gifu Perfecture, Japan
Room: Kangetsuro Japanese Style is a standard room. Choose breakfast only ... Our room price is the cheapest. But the view is worth millions. Because
1. It is a ryokan located next to the river. Our room has a river view. See Hongoji Temple, which is made of wood and the surrounding decorations, confirming the fame and craftsmanship of Gifu's carpenters.
2. We went during winter and it was snowing. The ryokan we stayed at and the surrounding city were covered in snow.
3. Inside the ryokan itself There is a common area where we can choose 3 main spots: sit around the charcoal stove, sit in a room with a wood-fired fireplace, or sit on an electric massage chair and enjoy the garden view.
Amenities/Impressions
1. All the staff are very enthusiastic and attentive to their guests.
2. Breakfast in a private room with a garden view.🤩😍👍🏼
3. There is a mixed onsen, separated for men and women, with alternating views of the bathroom. In the evening, you can enjoy this view and in the morning, you can enjoy another view.
4. In the evening, the staff will come and lay down futons for you.
Surrounding environment: There is an old town area located on Shirakabe Dogozai Street, and there is a small canal called Seto Canal running along the side of the street. There are usually carp, but during the winter when we went, the carp were moved to another place.
The day we went was January 15, which was the day the townspeople held the Santera Mairi Festival, where candles were decorated in a long row, as well as making snow into the shape of white candles, and there was a market where the townspeople came to sell food. Mama B had the opportunity to try Hida grilled meat. They said it was very soft, bite-sized pieces, 2 pieces for 250 yen (about 1,000 baht)… It’s really expensive, but I have to admit that it’s really delicious, very soft, not at all chewy. When I first saw it, I didn’t know why they had to have white candles. I read the article after I came back and learned that it’s a festival for young men and women who want to find a partner. Candles help create an atmosphere.
In conclusion… I recommend you to pin it because the town that is located in this area is small but warm and lovely. You can come and recharge your energy for work.
I recommend you to go for 3 days and 2 nights to slowly take in the atmosphere.
Hida-Furakawa: A small town not to be missed
#TravelAbroad
“Want to sleep in a ryokan” is the starting point that made Mama B & Prawit san accidentally stop by Hida Furukawa…search for accommodation and found a deal of Ryokan Yatsusankan without dinner, which was very suitable…without delay, book and pay because it was on the way back from Shirakawa-go on our trip.
Our travel plan that day was very focused on going to take pictures in Shirakawa-go Village, a village registered as a World Heritage Site, and spent the whole day until evening. We drove out of Shirakawa-go at almost 6pm to check in at the ryokan in Hida Furukawa, which took about 1 hour to drive…when we arrived, we just read the policy that check-in is until 6pm…..😅😅😅 Oh no, will we be able to stay?
Luckily, the owner was still waiting. This ryokan is right next to the river…at that time, we were very hungry for dinner…in addition to driving to park the car, the owner also drove us to a sushi and teppanyaki restaurant in the city center, where most restaurants were closed. Because we arrived after 6:00 p.m.
At dusk, we couldn't see anything in the city... The next morning, when we woke up, we opened the curtains to see the atmosphere...🤩😆🅾️Ⓜ️G Snow falling white, a million-dollar view
8:00 a.m., we went to use the onsen, which is both indoor and outdoor, and soaked in the hot spring while the snow was falling lightly. I really wanted to take a video to show you, but unfortunately they didn't allow using phones.
9:00 a.m. is Breakfast time... indescribable. I told myself that I would come back again if I had the chance.
10:00 a.m. is Check-out time. Mama B was very lazy before the wheels turned to drive around the city.
Hida Furukawa City is located in Gifu Prefecture. It is a small city north of Takayama City. Inside Furukawa City, the Miyagawa River flows through and there is also an old town area from the Edo period that has been preserved as well. We started the tour by stopping by a small canal along the old wooden houses called Seto, which usually has koi swimming in it. But we went in the winter when it was snowing and the water in the canal would freeze, so we didn't see any koi. Because I had to move to another place
Then I walked around the morning market along the river, walked around the town along Shirakabe Dozogai Street, and ended with a walk around the market to try Hida beef, which I must say is very tender, not inferior to Kobe beef.
I recommend it. It is a small town that still has an old-fashioned atmosphere that is worth a walk.
Hida Furukawa Follow her Kimi no nawa
[Hida-Furukawa following your name]
Before coming to Japan since the time before the country opened, I accidentally believed and watched the anime Kimi no Nawa, the name of your name. Actually, it was too late. It was famous many years ago.
I don't know why I wanted to come here. I stuffed Hida-Furukawa into my plan.
From the travel survey, I had to pass through Takayama. It's a very famous city, but I've never put it in my itinerary.
This time, I planned to leave Shirakawa-go and sleep in Takayama so that I would have time to travel in the morning.
The day I came, the weather was very cold because there was a little snow. I noticed the white streaks that hadn't melted yet. Instead of walking around Takayama in the morning, I changed to Hida-Furukawa.
Hida-Furukawa is a small, quiet city. I walked around the city and almost finished it in an hour.
If anyone likes old things, you should try to put this city into your plan.
The shrine here is still made of wood in the original style. It has been renovated and not rebuilt.
The station itself is still in its original form. That still has a wooden structure
The public corner that was put in the anime The government also cooperated. Open that window Including bringing a stand to stand The map is in many languages
Because I was hungry and thought that I would return to Takayama by 2 pm, I stopped to eat food that was not a recommended shop (I liked the shop front and was too lazy to walk). Hida-Furukawa In addition to being famous for Hida beef, another thing that is famous is herbs.
The shop claims on the front of the shop that most of the ingredients come from herbs. And with the Kimi no Nawa trend a few years ago, all documents, including the menu, are in English, making it not difficult to travel.
If you are indie and don't collect points, try to breathe in the air here.

Your name, Japan Hida Furukawa
I like the animated film "Your Name", the story of the female Lord Sakura where the town of Shou-cho is in the Hida area. The male lord suddenly lost contact with the female host after constantly exchanging the soul. After two friends searched for the platform of the three-leaf train, the prototype was taken from the Fuzhou Fuchuan Railway Station. As a small movie fan, it is necessary to punch the card.
From the Takayama Train Station, take the train in the direction of the mountain valley in the direction of the pigs in 15 minutes. In the deep winter in February, you can see more and more snow from the mountains and deeper and deeper white world.
In the Edo period, Hida Furukawa was a town built according to the plan of the mountains. It has experienced the changes of the times and today retains the old streets with traditional architectural features. The old streets are mostly two-storey wooden plaques, lattice windows made of wooden strips, and double eaves, all of which are typical Edo-era business buildings. The most interesting thing is that you can look for a special mark on the wall of the house. It is a circular pattern with a white background. The middle is engraved with different patterns, also called "clouds". It is unique to former woodworking architects. mark.
The river channel in front of the house is also called Seto River. The water quality is clear and you can see a group of koi. This old walkway is the most worthwhile place to stay in Furukawa. Stroll here, like a movie, going back to the past through time and space.
Since I came to the mountains, I couldn't help but go to the pilgrimage animated film--(your name) the location of the "flying Furukawa" from JR in the mountains 15 minutes. In the morning, there is a big snow in the goose but the slightest wood has a good mood affecting us. At noon, I eat at the most famous ramen noodle restaurant in Furukawa. The clerk will take the paper and pen to let you "hit" and I will draw it by the way~ keep it as a memorial. Pasta and red bean desserts are awesome~ don't miss it.
After going to the mountain from Shirakawago, we started looking for a delicious flying yak about 6:30, what is Maru-Ming, the taste of the heavens, and the Shou Shou House are all lined up! Service attitude has also dropped a lot of people inside the country [tears] helpless, we do not like to wait to leave a small shop diagonally across the Shou Shou House ~ super praise! The proprietress's service is good~ Feifei Niu Charcoal grilled food is also full! In short, very satisfied! I really like this charcoal grilling stove~ I still insist on seeing what to eat and not blindly pursuing the net red shop!
I believe that most of them go to Furukawa to see the movie "Your Name" by Xin Haicheng. The hometown of Ms. Sansui, the female high school girl in the drama, is here.
It takes 15 minutes by train from JR Takayama Station to fly to Furukawa. Ten minutes walk from the train station
is the most characteristic building in the city, the white wall bandit street. The whole street is a simple white wall dark wood house, surrounded by a small stream in front of the door. It is said that the summer creek is full of red koi, and the old workshops such as wine shops, warehouses, and rice shops occupy this place. There are few tourists, and the quiet is very comfortable.
Outdoor snowfall, it is recommended to go to Yuanguang Temple. It is extraordinarily quiet, take off heavy boots, step on the crackling wooden floor and slowly taste the authenticity here.
Going to the southwest direction of Furukawa, there is a terrain that is slowly getting higher, and there is a wide and flat river. Going to the shore, I suddenly opened up, and the scenery in the snow was not so real.
