A Sunset Lover's heaven!

Super close to Xingping town, just behind the bamboo raft wharf there is a short (about 30-40 mins) but steep climb to the Lao Zhai Shan (老寨山) peak. There are warnings everywhere along the path, so do be careful. There are parts of the climb that feel downright dangerous. But, if you're not afraid of a steep climb and you keep your wits about you, totally worth it for the vistas at the top! The view is stunning at any time of day, but the sunset is 👌👌. Obviously, recommended to go up only if the weather is good and the air is clear. Just be sure to get on your way down before it gets too dark; You do not want to be calmbering down the steep and uneven stairs in the dark.
