Welcome to Wuzhi

Wuzhi County, under the jurisdiction of Jiaozuo City, Henan Province. Located in the northwest of Henan Province and the southeast of Jiaozuo City, at the confluence of the Yellow River and the Qin River, it borders Huojia County and Yuanyang County to the east, Bo'ai County and Wen County to the west, Xiuwu County to the north, and Xingyang City to the south, with a total area of 797.9 square kilometers. Wuzhi is named after King Wu passed through this area on his campaign against King Zhou of Shang. Wuzhi rice, along with four kinds of traditional Chinese medicinal materials—Huai Di Huang, Huai Niu Xi, Huai Shan Yao, and Huai Ju Hua—are protected geographical indication products. It is a national strong county in the food industry, a national health county, a national garden county city, a national advanced county in scientific and technological progress, and one of the first batch of counties in the revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization area.
