Tangshan · Hetou Old Street

Hetou Old Street is a cultural and tourism project jointly developed and constructed by Tangshan Cultural Tourism Group and the Fengnan District Government of Tangshan City. It is located in Fengnan District, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, China, at the center of the Tangjin Canal Ecological Tourism Resort. It starts from the Tangjin Canal Cultural Street Bridge in the north and extends to the Youyuan Bridge in the south, with a total length of about 1000 meters and a building area of 31,000 square meters. The project is operated as a whole by Tangshan Fengnan Cultural Tourism Development Co., Ltd. The Hetou Old Street project centers on Hetou culture and features elements of the prosperous Tang Dynasty. It integrates modern trendy culture with local folk culture and temple fair culture, offering a new and upgraded experience. The project aims to create an immersive cultural and tourism street with unique regional characteristics, combining "food, travel, shopping, entertainment, sports, exhibitions, and performances". The Hetou Old Street project is structured around the Tangjin Canal as its axis, with commercial streets on both sides of the river as its wings, forming an "one axis, two wings" industrial layout. It is tailored to create a full-scene "Night Economy · Most Tangshan" experience, immersively reconstructing the "century-old Hetou prosperity".
