The Stone ‘Caves’ of Malta

The dry stone construction of Malta‘s cobbled huts make them a really intriguing part of Malta‘s heritage. Found mainly in the north of Malta, most of them were probably used for storage or shelters for shepherds some of the larger ones may have been dwellings. When hiking around Malta, I really enjoy looking out for these structures and exploring them. #celebrateit #malta #heritage
