Is the Singapore Night Safari Worth It?

The Singapore Zoo has four parks, and the Night Safari is undoubtedly the most famous. However, many visitors leave disappointed, feeling like they are wandering in the dark wilderness with nothing to see and strange noises coming from the bushes. But with the right approach, it can be quite enjoyable! ♥️ Entry The Night Safari is the only park that requires a reservation for entry. We booked the 7:45 PM slot, and by the time we entered, there was already a long line for the tram. It's best to book the earliest slot to avoid long waits. ♥️ Touring Due to the long tram lines, we opted for the walking route, passing through the Pangolin Trail, Leopard Trail, East Lodge Trail, and Wallaby Trail. On the Leopard Trail, you can take a small detour to the Lion Lookout, though we didn't see any lions as they were likely resting. Continuing on the Leopard Trail, there's a fork leading to the Indian Rhino, where you can book a feeding session. The path is dimly lit but not too dark to see. Discovering animals hidden in the dark can be quite thrilling, like exploring the wilderness with unknown dangers lurking around. The walk takes about two hours, and if you have time, it's recommended to return to the tram station for a ride to see more animals. Some exhibits might not have visible animals, but that's understandable. Even in daytime zoos, animals like lions, tigers, and pandas sometimes stay indoors, so we can't expect all animals to be active here. Respecting their natural behavior is key! Lastly, remember to protect yourself from mosquitoes and bugs. I got bitten on my leg, which was itchy and painful for days.
