Breathtaking views of SHIRAKAGAWA-GO!

Shirakagawa-go is a small traditional village with small buildings and the village is known as one of the UNESCO World Heritage sites. It is definitely worth a visit especially during winter season with breathtaking snowscapes views! The unique architecture of the houses called Gassho- zukuri is rarely found in Japan. Any seasons are good to visit this unique village. From Tokyo station, take the Hokuriko Shinkansen to Toyama and then the bus to this village. The bus ride may take up to 3 hours.
