Jing'an Sculpture Park Plum Blossom Diary

Shanghai Flower Viewing | Plum Blossoms | Jing'an Sculpture Park Every year, I visit Jing'an Sculpture Park to admire the plum blossoms. This year, upon arrival, I saw figures from afar amidst the plum grove, but the usual vibrant red was missing. The red plum blossoms were sparsely scattered, as if their courage to bloom had been frozen by the lingering winter chill. The 'Gongfen' plum blossoms had also lost their former brilliance, with only a few scattered red dots adorning the branches, appearing particularly desolate. The white plum blossoms, however, were blooming profusely, crowding together on the branches. Yet, due to the straight branches, it was difficult to find a good angle for photos. The green calyx plum blossoms had faded their subtle green hue, blending in with the white plums. Turning past a rock garden, I suddenly saw several silver-haired seniors busily surrounding a few weeping plum blossom trees. They were either squatting or standing, holding cameras and searching for the best angles. An auntie wearing reading glasses frowned at the viewfinder: "How can I submit this assignment? No matter how I shoot, it's not beautiful enough." I noticed the weeping plum blossoms by the pond had a unique charm, with their soft branches drooping, displaying a mix of pink and white, gently swaying in the breeze. I pointed them out to the auntie, hoping she could capture a good shot for her assignment.
