Alila Shanghai.

🏨Location Alila Shanghai is now open. The location is great, just opposite Xingye Taikoo Hui. I made an early reservation for afternoon tea and met up with my girlfriends. It's actually on the 4th floor of the hotel. I really like the entire decor. Having afternoon tea facing the garden greenery outside the huge floor-to-ceiling windows gives you a feeling of being in a secret place in the city. The restaurant's interior decoration is also commendable. There are green plants everywhere. The retro green porch is paired with old Shanghai-style artist newspapers, giving you the illusion of dining in a rich lady's room in old Shanghai. The most special design of the entire restaurant is the books that can be found behind the sofa seats. Several of them are about Shanghai's history, which is very close to Shanghai's local characteristics. Drinking tea and reading makes you feel that time is quiet and good.
