🌟 Seville Palace Spanish: Alcázares Reales de Sevilla, is one of the most important attractions in Seville, Spain, and one of the oldest palaces in Europe. It was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1987. Originally, it was a fortress built by the Moors. Alcázar comes from the Arabic word القصر, al-qasr, which means palace. The Palace was first built in 1181 and was continuously constructed for more than 500 years. It consists of various palaces and gardens designed in different historical periods. That's why its architecture is so diverse, combining Islamic, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and Romantic elements, as well as some of the best examples of Mughal art, which is a product of Islamic and Christian cultures. Salón de Embajadores (Hall of Ambassadors) is the most luxurious room in the palace. The impressive dome, built by Diego Ruiz in 1427, is a must-see attraction. In addition, there is an ancient Roman citadel, an Arab fortress, and several Visigothic buildings in the palace.
