[Miyagi] Learn about the scars left by the Great East Japan Earthquake at Sendai City Arahama Elementary School

Looking at the records from March 11, 2011, I was surprised to see that it was more than 10 years ago. It must have been such a memorable event at the time. The elementary school here was one of the buildings that was affected by the earthquake, and the tsunami apparently reached up to the second floor of the four-story building. The dilapidated state of the classrooms is painful to watch, but when they stood on the fence on the school roof and the tsunami came rushing in, it must have been truly terrifying.
