Guide to a day trip from Munich to Neuschwanstein Castle.

【Traffic Advice】 1) Take the train from Munich Station to Fussen, transfer to bus No. 78 at the same station and it will take five stops to get there (Fussen public transportation can use a monthly pass of 49 euros) 2) If you don’t want to transfer to trains and public buses, you can take Flixbus directly 📍To collect your tickets after arriving at the station, you can choose: a. Walk up the mountain b. Take the scenic bus/carriage up the mountain We chose the 🚌scenic bus to go up the mountain and 👭walk down to Neuschwanstein Castle 1) After getting off the scenic bus, walk 5 minutes to the right to get to Marianne Bridge, where you can take a picture of the full view of the Swan Castle; 2) Walk 10 minutes to the left to reach the main entrance. You can take photos with the castle along the way. 3)🏰 Explore Neuschwanstein Castle: ✨Tickets are required to visit the interior. They must be booked online in advance🎟️💻. The ticket time is accurate to the minute. You must not be late. You will not be able to enter if you arrive early or late. Photography is not allowed inside, but there is a free Chinese audio guide, which is a good experience~ 4) There are many souvenir shops when walking down the mountain. There is a ☕️ shop that buys a latte for 5€ and comes with a Neuschwanstein Castle ☕️ cup.
