The overall area meets five-star hotel standards, making for a comfortable stay. 🛌Amenities/Facilities The hotel is equipped with a Dyson hairdryer, ensuring quality. However, the basic facilities are slightly inferior compared to some boutique hotels. For example, the hotel pool does not have a dedicated children's area, and the water temperature is not suitable for babies. However, the room's hygiene and soundproofing are well-maintained, ensuring a quiet and clean resting environment. The children's play area costs CNY 58/hour, and there are claw machines for children to play with. Exiting through the small door at the back of the hotel, you can reach the beach in a few minutes by walking across a bridge, which is very convenient. The hotel has a large outdoor lawn, and you can swipe your card to access the pier outside the hotel through the lawn. There are many seagulls on the pier, and the scenery is beautiful. Dining Experience The breakfast buffet is rich, featuring Shandong's specialty, large pancakes, which my daughter loved and ate two of every meal. The dinner selection in the hotel lounge is not extensive, and the quality is average. The fish in the hot dishes had a strong fishy smell. However, if you don't want to go out for seafood, the hotel's dining options can also meet your needs. I recommend the Chocolate Fisherman restaurant opposite the main entrance of the hotel. The seafood is fresh and clean, the prices are transparent, and there's no queue if you go around 6 p.m. The food is delicious. The seafood at the former Prince's Mansion restaurant, however, is of poor quality, with dirty and stale shrimp. Nearby Attractions The waters between Gate 1 and Gate 2 of Wanpingkou are very clean, with clear blue water, a long coastline, and a pleasant beach experience. There is a coffee shop called "Coffee and Sea" at Gate 2, where mothers can take a break from the sun while fathers take their children to play in the sand. Many people take photos in the shop, and the staff will even help you take pictures. 💗Other Tips If you are traveling with a baby, be aware that the hotel pool is not suitable for babies. You can create a swimming experience for your baby in the bathtub. Traveling during the off-season not only offers discounted hotel rates but also avoids crowds, which is highly recommended.
