When it comes to the best summer travel destinations, Puzhehei is definitely on the list! After two visits to Puzhehei, I have carefully summarized a clear and concise travel guide. With the least expense, you can enjoy the most beautiful scenery. Just follow this guide, and you won't go wrong! Transportation: Arrive at Puzhehei Station, which is only 1.5 hours away from Kunming. After exiting the station, there is a bus station on the left with buses costing 5 or 10 yuan, which can take you directly to the scenic area; on the right, there is a tram with a fare of 15 yuan, which also goes directly to the scenic area. Note that buses and trams are only available before 6 PM, and the same applies for the return trip. Accommodation: Choose Puzhehei Village, where eating, lodging, and transportation are very convenient. Tickets: Puzhehei is composed of several villages, and no tickets are required to enter the scenic area. However, tickets are needed for boat rides, sightseeing cars, and individual small attractions inside, with varying prices. Two-day itinerary: Day 1: Lover's Bridge - Qinglong Mountain Pier to take a willow leaf boat to Pucao Pond Pier - Bailian Mountain Village to admire lotus flowers and have lunch - Eternal Love - Qinglong Mountain - Puzhehei Village for dinner The reflection of the blue sky and white clouds at Lover's Bridge is stunning. On the bridge, you can interact with people on boats and have water fights, which is endless fun. Walking from Lover's Bridge to Qinglong Mountain Pier, you will pass through rice fields with beautiful scenery. At the pier, you can also take photos on the willow leaf boats by the shore. When boating in Puzhehei, be sure to choose the willow leaf boat. Row through the lotus ponds and have water fights to fully enjoy the summer joy! The boat ticket is 230 yuan (including the sightseeing car). The lotus flowers in Bailian Mountain Village are average for photography, so just enjoy them along the way. The ticket for the Eternal Love scenic area is 30 yuan. Although the peach blossoms inside are fake, the scenery on the way to the scenic area is excellent, making you feel like you are in a picturesque rural landscape. Qinglong Mountain is open for free. Climbing to the top of the mountain, you can overlook the entire Puzhehei. From the small road on the left side of Qinglong Mountain Pier, it is not far to the mountain path. Although the climb is tiring, the view from the top is definitely worth it. Day 2: Rent an electric scooter for a ride Route: Puzhehei Village - Xihuang Wetland Pier - Maoshan Section - Shuangjia Mountain Pier - Xianrendong Village - Return to Puzhehei Village for lunch and pick up luggage - Take a bus from Puxin Bridge to the high-speed rail station The karst landform of Xihuang Wetland is prominent, especially the small road next to it, the "Maoshan Section," with excellent scenery! The lotus flowers at Shuangjia Mountain Pier are also numerous, and individual shots of the lotus flowers will look even better. Xianrendong Village is similar to a small ancient town, so a simple tour is enough. Other tips: You can arrive the night before and stay for two nights for a more leisurely trip. Swan Lake has no swans and requires a ticket, so it is not recommended to visit. If you are doing a one-day tour, just follow the itinerary for the first day.
