Prambanan Temple

Prambanan has the original name Siwagrha and is designed to resemble Shiva's house, which follows the shape of the sacred mountain Mahameru, where the gods reside. One of the unique things about Prambanan Temple is the reliefs that decorate its walls. This relief tells the epic story of the Ramayana, starting from the east side of the Shiva Temple and continuing clockwise to the Brahma Temple.
