The first time I came to Lugu Lake, recommended by National Geographic, it was worth traveling thousands of kilometers to get here. On sunny days, Lugu Lake is like a mirror; on rainy days, it looks like an ink painting, making you feel like you're living in a fairyland. The hotel's service is also superb, meticulous and thoughtful. Its location is excellent, in the best-developed Daluoshui Village, yet it is quiet and peaceful in the lower part of Daluoshui. However, every Mosuo boatman will emotionally explain the story of the 'Kingdom of Women' in Lugu Lake, allowing every guest to feel the influence of Mosuo culture. Especially at the Puluo Pier, you can row a boat in the morning to see the 'water hyacinth' flower sea up close, highly recommended! Gemu Goddess Mountain : Also known as Lion Mountain, it is located in Xiaoluoshui. You can take a cable car to reach the Goddess Mountain, where there are caves formed over thousands of years. The most recommended reason is actually the way down the mountain. Taking the cable car down, you can overlook the entire 'highland mirror' from the highest point of Lugu Lake. Caohai: Located in Sichuan's Lugu Lake, Caohai gives a feeling similar to the vast grasslands of Inner Mongolia, and next to it is the Mosuo people's most ethnically characteristic Walking Marriage Bridge. 🚉 Transportation Guide: The journey to Lugu Lake is quite long. It takes five hours to travel from Lijiang via the national highway, but the scenery along the way is also excellent.
