It takes 3 people 6 days to travel to and from Xi'an to Hailar, charter a car and travel freely, the average cost per person is less than 4,000. On the first day, we landed in Hailar and stayed near the ancient city. It was very convenient to travel anywhere. On the second day, we chartered a car and set off from Ergun, crossed the Hulunbuir Prairie, visited the Mozhgrad River, and stayed in Enhe Russian Ethnic Township in the evening; On the third day, we set off from Enhe and took the Border Defense Highway via Shiwei. We visited the Ergun National Wetland Park and the grassland here, rode horses to chase the sunset at night, and stayed in a yurt in Heishantou Town. On the fourth day, we set off from Heishantou and continued to extend the border defense. Take the road to Manzhouli and check into the Matryoshka Castle Hotel in Manzhouli; on the fifth day, return to Hailar from Manzhouli and check into Hailar; on the sixth day, return to Hailar to Xi'an. Along the way, I was impressed by the majesty of the grassland, full of greenery, relaxed physically and mentally, and infinitely healed. Give me a piece of pasture, a few cows, sheep and horses, and life can be such a purposeless waste, which is fine. It is highly recommended to go to Ergun National Wetland Park. It must be the National Wetland Park, don’t make a mistake! There is only a short section of the boardwalk that requires some persistence and physical strength, but the scenery is definitely worth the price of admission. If the time is right, you can see peonies and day lilies all over the hillside, competing to bloom! There are twists and turns in several places, and the distant mountains are constantly calling you! Grass skiing and horse riding are also experiences that you must try if you have the opportunity. We went to the grassland here because we were only interested in grass skiing and did not want to experience high-altitude swings and other projects. In contrast, I chose the grassland here because you can skate as many times as you like, and there is a free cable car next to it. If you don’t have an off-road vehicle to cross the grassland, you can also experience it by taking a small train that slowly travels through the grassland in this scenic spot. When chasing the sunset on horseback, everyone rides by themselves, and then the horse team follows the guide and rides to the top of Sunset Mountain (that’s what it’s called), waiting for the sun to set. It was so spectacular! It made me want to cry. Even thinking about that scene can save me from all kinds of negative emotions countless times. You must watch the sunrise and sunset in your life experience, it feels so beautiful! The night view of Manzhouli is pretty good, and the Matryoshka Doll Hotel is considered an outlier. The hotel itself can be visited as an attraction, but the overall accessibility of the city is not high.
