Nanjing's Must-Visit Attraction: Niushou Mountain

Niushou Mountain has been a renowned Buddhist site since ancient times, with over 30 temples built from the Southern Dynasties to the Tang Dynasty. During the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasties, Buddhism flourished, and Niushou Mountain was the most concentrated area among the '480 Temples of the Southern Dynasties.' It was considered one of the three most famous Buddhist sites of the Tang Dynasty, alongside Qingliang in the northwest and Emei in the southwest. The architecture within the area is exceptionally exquisite and beautiful, making it a great spot for photography. It is recommended to climb only to the second floor of the tower, as there isn't much to see beyond that point, and the air circulation is poor. The highest floor only houses a Buddha statue. The scenic area offers shuttle services, but you can also walk. However, the shuttle service requires a fee for both directions. If you have the stamina and the mood, you can take a leisurely walk. The entrance fee is 160 RMB, but it is free for visitors from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau!
