Wuliang Mountain in Nanjian County, Dali Prefecture, Yunnan, is home to a cherry blossom valley. Every winter, the valley is adorned with thousands of cherry blossoms, making it an ideal destination for winter cherry blossom viewing. Wuliang Mountain Cherry Blossom Valley is about 160 km from Dali City. It is accessible via expressways, or you can take national and provincial highways. If you have time, you can first visit Nanjian County to taste Nanjian jumping dishes, and then head to the cherry blossom valley, enjoying the mountain views and rural scenery along the way. The No. 1 Scenic Area of Wuliang Mountain is the main area of the cherry blossom valley, with a wide expanse of cherry trees. From a distance, the valley is a sea of cherry blossoms, while up close, the petals are translucent and pink. Parking is limited in the scenic area, and visitors' cars are usually not allowed to enter. Cars parked along the roadside outside the gate often form long queues, causing congestion. The No. 2 Scenic Area is less crowded, and you can drive to the mountain flower village, where you can stay overnight. Tall cherry trees are scattered among the tea terraces, creating a stunning contrast between the lush tea trees and the graceful cherry blossoms. The No. 3 Scenic Area is much less visited. The cherry blossom valley attracts many beautiful girls who wander among the flowers like bees and butterflies, competing with the cherry blossoms in beauty. The valley also draws many young men who fly drones to capture the scenery, with the buzzing sound filling the air.
