Beautiful church in Guatape

#fallishere Parroquia Nuestra Señora del Carmen de Guatapé church is a very beautiful and large Catholic church located right on the main square. Its construction began in 1865. The church was inaugurated two years later but it took 70 years to complete the building. The church was built in the Greco-Roman style, characterized by large arches and circular bevels that adorn the bases and tops of its columns. The church strikes its visitors with its clean and exquisite lines and decoration mainly made out of carved wood. It has a magnificent large altar. The entry is free and it is highly recommended to visit if in the neighborhood.
