Nihon Sankei Matsushima 日本三景 松島

A general name for the island group consisting of 260 large and small islands scattered in central Miyagi Prefecture, along the coast of Matsushima Bay, and on Matsushima Bay. The scenery of Matsushima changes in various ways depending on the location and season. The scenery is so beautiful that it is ranked first among the three scenic spots in Japan. Small islands float one after another on the calm Songdao Bay, with black pine and red pine standing on the gray-white rocks.
