The closest place to the snow mountain~ The King of Shu Mountain, Gongga Snow Mountain | Hailuogou Travel Guide

Hailuogou was rebuilt after the earthquake, and it was my first visit. The impact of Gongga Snow Mountain was overwhelming, and it was definitely worth a stroll~ Day1️⃣ Chengdu-Hailuogou Departing from Chengdu at 20:00 on Friday night, we arrived at Tianquan Service Area around 22:00, charged the car and took a 40min break, then drove straight to the hotel, arriving at about 1:00 in the morning, the starry sky was super beautiful and bright✨ 🏨Hailuogou Luanxi Yinshan: The guesthouse negotiated an upgrade of the room, and even turned on the air conditioning in advance, the room was super warm. Surprisingly, the room faced Gongga Snow Mountain directly, which was very shocking. The service was quite thoughtful, the guesthouse had a hanging hot spring on the top floor, and the room also had a private bath, snow mountain afternoon tea, and the KTV and bar were open at night, free of charge, including breakfast for two. Day2️⃣ Hailuogou 🎫Got up at 8:00 in the morning for breakfast, and by chance, I saw the sunlight shining on the golden mountain, which was incredibly lucky! Departed at 9:00 to go to the scenic area, the guesthouse arranged its own business car to take us directly to the scenic area bus point. Took the bus for 50min to Camp 4, where you can see the snow mountain from different angles along the way, and also see many monkeys fighting🐒. Getting off the bus, you can see Gongga Snow Mountain, and the place where the bus stops is the best spot for photos! 🚠To get to Camp 4, you need to take a cable car up the mountain, 130r for a round trip. The cable car offers a beautiful view of the snow mountain, and you must take lots of photos! However, the viewing platform at Camp 4 is just so-so, not as comfortable as the view from the cable car. After touring Camp 4, took the cable car and bus back to the hotel at Camp 3, had lunch in the restaurant, the price was acceptable, and the taste was good. 🏔️After lunch, headed straight to Camp 3, you can choose to take a pink sightseeing car for 30r round trip, or walk for 2-3h. Due to time constraints and mild altitude sickness, took the sightseeing car. After getting off, walked on the plank road to the viewing platform, you can take photos along the way, the newly built plank road is not slippery and easy to walk. ❄️After finishing Camp 3, took the bus to Moon Bay and Cao Haizi, where you can take photos in the snow, but be sure to pay attention to safety! The sunlight is very strong so it's great for photos. 🚌The trip ended around 16:00, took the bus back, arrived at the town around 17:00, not very tired, and it was very comfortable to soak in the hot spring back at the guesthouse. Day3️⃣ Hailuogou-Chengdu Slept until waking up naturally, had lunch in the town, and returned in about 4 hours in the afternoon. Since the road was still under construction during the day, had to drive carefully. The road was mostly newly built after the earthquake, so it was fairly easy to travel. ☀️Overall, the scenery of Hailuogou is getting more and more beautiful, and the infrastructure conditions have improved a lot, but it's still a nice choice to relax on the weekend. Looking forward to the completion of Camp 5, so we can get even closer to Gongga~
