Gulangyu

Gulangyu is a beautiful small island facing Xiamen across the Lujiang River, with a pleasant climate, birdsong and fragrant flowers. Many buildings have a strong European and American style, known as the 'Architecture Museum'. The view of Xiamen from Sunlight Rock is even more beautiful, blending history, culture, and natural landscapes into one. In the 1980s and 1990s, Gulangyu was a well-known tourist destination nationwide, attracting countless visitors each year, all drawn by the island's beautiful environment.
