National Monument (Malaysia)

#malaysia Since both me and my husband on leave during Malaysia Day's 16th Sept 2023, both of us take a chance to pay a visit to our National Monument or also known as Taman Tugu Negara. However, too bad it was close for construction. Many people like us came to pay a visit to this historical place on this special day but a bit disappointed because we couldn't go near to the world's tallest bronze freestanding sculpture grouping. For those who don't know, the Tugu Negara is a national monument that commemorates those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom, principally against the Japanese occupation during World War II and the Malayan Emergency, which lasted from 1948 until 1960. Hope the construction will be done soon so that we can visit it again.
