Khao Sok National Park

#thailandtrip This is a true gem but hard to spot animals as the forest is very dense. It is advisable to hire a local guide. The boat day trip is good but you spend a lot of time in the noisy and uncomfortable long tail boats. If you are to do the lake tour i would look for accomodation near the ratchaprapha pier as all boats depart from there.Beautiful untouched place. You get amazed to see the rocks, turquoise water. The best and cheapest way to see it is to arrive to the port and hire a long tail boat which will bring you everywhere, show all the most beautiful picturesque points and if you wish also to the floating restaurant. Price for the whole boat with the captain varies from 2000-3000 ฿
